Hotel The Botanik Sewoon

Stayed here with friends in a two-bedroom suite and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent — walking distance to major shopping areas, surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants, and conveniently close to the train station. There’s even an E-Mart in the building, which made everything super convenient.

I also really appreciated having access to a money exchange machine in the hotel lobby, which was incredibly handy during our stay.

The hotel facilities were beautiful as well, especially the rooftop and gym. The only downside was that the second bedroom was very small and didn’t have doors, which made privacy a bit difficult when staying with friends.

That said, I would definitely stay here again for the location, convenience, and overall atmosphere.

I've been to Seoul numerous times and stayed in different Airbnbs as well as hotels and The Botanik in Euljiro was by far the most pleasant stay I've had in Korea. Absolutely loved it here. The staff was amazing, the rooms perfectly clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. The hotel is also located very conveniently, so it is very easy to reach a lot of places (Ikseondong, Insadong, Gwanghwamun, Myeongdong...) Hopefully I will have the opertunity to come here again in the future. Thank you for making our time here even more beautiful.

Pros: fantastic, modern, clean hotel. I got two family suites for our family of four. The washer and dryer in the units,which is a huge plus. quiet with good views.

Cons; it’s a bit far from action. But it’s still very doable since taxi is Decently priced in Seoul….

If you like shopping a lot, this location might not be a perfect fit, but it's so easy to get to other region. There are four of us and we Uber all the time which was very cost effective and convenient. Jack Choi, the front desk staff helped us to rearrange rooms when we found out the room we booked didn't meet with our needs. (Forgot to ask the name of the manager on duty, thanks for his prompt action too). We will definitely return to this hotel if we travel to Seoul again.

Clean room with washer, drying rack, styler and microwave to use freely. Extra utensils and cookware has to be requested from reception if needed as only one plate and one set of tableware provided by default. Room has both cooling and heating function that actually works, and an air purifier. Full sized fridge with freezer, and wine fridge available for use. Bathroom is small but sufficient, amenities were good quality and towels changed daily. The closet was big enough to store 2 luggages. I liked the balcony but not much of a view at the moment 🤣 Easy to find and get to with airport bus (stop at hotel kukdo). There's also a convenience store in the building itself and one in the next building. Gym is spacious with various machines and equipment, changing/shower room inside as well. Walking distance to Gwangjang Market. Area is relatively quiet. There's two train stations nearby connecting to different lines, convenient to get to other locations, tour meeting points, and attractions.

I think the bed light wasn't working during my stay but I didn't realise until the last night 😂 TV can be adjusted to face the bed, but be careful that it doesnt slide off the mount. Overall had a great stay and would come here again if available next time 😄
