I just finished a treatment at Sam Studio, and I’d like to share my real experience. During the initial consultation, the director used a mirror to let me see my face, pointed out my facial features, and explained why certain treatments work well for some people but not others. They didn’t try to push any procedures just to close a sale; instead, they truly tailored their recommendations based on my specific facial needs. Their technique was extremely steady throughout the treatment—clearly proof that they weren’t beginners. There was thorough communication at every step, with them checking in to see if I was feeling uncomfortable. They also adjusted the treatment as needed, depending on my tolerance levels. The whole experience was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly professional and patient.

Needed an ID photo and as a non-Korean I needed no extreme touch ups, at a reasonable price I got it done here, one photo, just what I needed, done in less than half an hour. He has suits available to use for no additional charge, many places in Seoul charge. It is quick, he still does post production so you get a refined photo at the end that is natural. You get both the printed photos at the ID size you need (please tell him if you have specific size requirements) and a digital jpg copy emailed to you. Highly recommend this studios if you need an high quality professional ID photo done right away. It’s worth the difference between a photobooth!

Goes through with you on the mugshot after editing to make you look handsome or pretty. 5 stars, pricing is great at around USD 25+-

The photos were professional quality and there was a quick turn around. I was also very impressed with the hair and makeup. I am a foreigner and have textured curly/wavy hair. I was concerned how to make this look natural in the photos and the makeup artist did a great job styling my hair. That being said, I think the overall outcome was more formal than what I was hoping for and the photo that I showed her. I was looking for something a little more casual and friendly. My main issue with this studio was the personality of the photographer. This was my first and only experience getting headshots and it is possible that there was a disconnect due to cultural differences. However, I speak Korean and showed many example photos of what I wanted. The photographer had this condescending, strained look on his face whenever I spoke. Did not even look at all the examples I brought, and even after seeing a few continued to do the same basic poses that may have been habit for everyone. I was looking for more personality, fun, color, and there was barely any discussion about the concepts. I had two different concepts done and they were shot almost in the same style. I wasn't told clearly what was happening during the shoot and the process felt rush. Perhaps that's how photographers work. I guess I was hoping for something more encouraging and personal. The price seemed somewhat fair for the quality of the actual photos and what you get. But the photos missed the mark from what I imagined and for the time, effort, and money and I wouldn't come here again. I don't see myself using the pictures in as many ways as I had hoped, which is disappointing. I will add that the photoshop was truly professional quality. I showed up five months pregnant and he was able to photoshop out my belly! Very impressive.

Very fast service within the hour and done professionally in a Korean style. Else, do bring a reference for your makeup. Otherwise, it would also be more worth your money to do it yourself before arrival as photoshop will be done eitherway.

I was in and out within 20 mins including changing, photo shoot and editing. The photographer and the receptionist both speak English so communication was not an issue. They provide white shirts, ties and blazers. If you want to bring your clothes you may. No make up provided but there is a vanity table for you to do touch up or tidy up your hair if necessary. They also do photo shoots for employment and personal. Very happy with the results. Worth the $35 I paid to Klook. You get 8 passport sized hard copies and a soft copy sent to your email.
