Hotel Gracery Seoul

Just had my second stay at the Hotel Gracery. My wife and I stayed 6 nights and it was just as nice as our first stay 2 years ago. This time I want to point out how pleasant and helpful the staff were. They were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile and I found them very personable. This made our stay at the hotel great. Yes, the location of the hotel is great and the rooms (Deluxe Twin) are good - decent size, comfortable beds, lots of closet space - but the kindness of the staff stood out for us this time. Business hotel, but the room is pretty spacious for one, greatest thing is bath room is completely separated from toilet. Japanese style bath room, you can pamper yourself with bath salt they provide in the room with. You have everything you need in your room, very quiet and nice breakfast, too. Location is so close from local street market, easy access to everywhere. Also there is a convenience store on the ground floor which is also well designed for customers who stay at this hotel.

The front desk staff were very friendly, which made the service feel excellent. Housekeeping came daily to clean the room and replenish amenities.

The most impressive part was the bed—it was extremely comfortable. Once I lay down, I could easily sleep for 9–10 hours straight.

The hotel location is very convenient. There is a CU convenience store and Starbucks downstairs, a row of bus stops right at the intersection, and the metro entrance is within a 10-minute walk.

Great hotel. Lovely location. Room felt spacious and were well supplied. Cleaning was thorough and things were thoughtfully cleaned around. Good local coffee shops,bars and restaurants and a number of convenience stores. Only downside to the room was I found the mattress a bit firm and the air con controls being right by the bed disturbed my sleep a bit.

The hotel is centrally located to many attractions.
I was amazed by the fact they had automated kiosks for check in and checkout, although obviously a staff greets you and assists with the process.
Another couple of cool things were that they have self storage lockers and even a luggage weighing scale which is super helpful with all the shopping you’d do in Seoul!
Breakfast was OK, reasonable selection for a typical business hotel. Staff are very polite and helpful.
Overall it’s a very good hotel, just the room we stayed was a tad small to our liking, otherwise very comfortable and very well maintained.
