Hotel PJ

Stayed at Hotel PJ near Eulji-ro 4-ga subway station and had a very comfortable experience. The room was spacious and well-equipped, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides complimentary coffee, cider, soft drinks, and snacks in the minibar, which was a nice bonus.

One of the standout features was the LG Styler in the room, which helps sanitize , remove wrinkles and remove odour from clothes conveniently during the stay.

The hotel also has a gym on the 8th floor, open daily from 8am to 10pm. Another useful amenity is the water and ice dispenser available on every guest room floor.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel with thoughtful amenities and an excellent location near the subway station.

Room-
I’ve stayed in single, double and triple. Double is the best because it’s got a patio that you can open and the room seems newer than single and triple.
The toilet was very weak, you cannot throw anything in it or it’ll clog. This includes toilet paper.
I do not understand why only heater is available during winter season, because it’s currently 27 degrees in my room and apparently I cannot do anything about it because it’s winter, only heater is offered….

Service- overall good except one guy at the front desk. He is tall, wears a mask and glasses. His English is poor, ok that is fine but he was very unfriendly and unwilling to help you with anything. He make you feel like unwelcome and that you should not ask him anything. Everyone else are nice. But the experience with this guy really makes it overall just a 2 star.

Location- like middle of nowhere you walk a decent distance to a train station which kind of gives me nightmares now for the amount of time I’ve walked back n forth everytime I want to go out.

If you want a cheap hotel- stay here it’s alright can’t complain for the price
Otherwise don’t stay.

Overall, this hotel was rather below average. The flat pillows, the heater that turns on by itself at night really affected our sleep...
Despite these factors, a staff named Mr. Jun who is a young man who wears black framed glasses gave us the best and most professional service. He was welcoming, friendly and polite. He was also one of the only staff who was able to converse with us in a clearly in English and because of him he made the stay here much more bearable!

Hotel is old. Staffs are not very friendly. The room is spacious, but out dated. The air conditioner does not work well. Makes the room humid. I would not stay here again and would not recommend to friends and family.

Incredible value and great location. We stayed at Hotel PJ on our one and only night in Seoul after a long cruise and I wish we'd had more time. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were taken care of. The elevator valets met us at our transport and guided all of our luggage onto the elevator. We were too early to check in, so we made use of the free and easy baggage lockers. We were able to get a cab quickly out the front door and headed to find underground shopping due to the impending rain, which did indeed pour down. Upon checking in later, we found our room to be very spacious and enjoyed the tub for a soak. The bed was the least impressive, but still gave us plenty of room to rest our bodies at the end of a long day. The breakfast buffet, included in our room, was incredible. Plenty of options for all visitors, western and local. The front desk staff was helpful, providing us printout directions to our desired locations and gave us a card we could give cab drivers to get back to the hotel, which we used twice. I would definitely stay here again.
