Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam

Walkable to some pretty, lively parts of Gangnam. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Shower pressure really good, but bathrooms are slightly dated. All and all, very clean and nice.

I’m surprised by all the positive comments here. Hotel rooms were poorly maintained. Facilities are outdated. I have also proven this isn’t a singular issue. I was there for a family event with over 10 rooms booked. My room’s bathroom fan wasn’t working. There are also other rooms where the A/C doesn’t work, bathtub drain was clogged, USB charging port malfunctioned, toilet flushing was weak, carpet wrinkled and was clearly a tripping hazard, etc. We reported to the front desk, where they said would fix but never did, also didn’t offer to change room or anything. You can tell the hotel ownership must be cheap and this really should be a 2 star hotel max. Staff was nice and that’s all the 2 star is about.

This hotel is a very reliable choice if you want to stay in the Gangnam area without overthinking transportation.

The location is one of its biggest advantages — it’s within walking distance of Nonhyeon Station, and it’s convenient for getting around Gangnam, Apgujeong, COEX, and other popular areas in Seoul. The hotel feels more business-class than trendy, but that’s also what makes it comfortable: clean rooms, practical facilities, helpful staff, and a smooth check-in experience.

Our room was simple, quiet, and well kept. It may not be the newest or most design-forward hotel in Seoul, but it gives you exactly what you need after a full day out: a comfortable bed, decent space, and a sense of ease.

A good option for business travelers, couples, or anyone visiting Seoul for the first time and looking for a convenient, dependable base in Gangnam.

I prefer to stay at Novotel with their excellent service and profesionality. There was a night, quite late, I needed to cook the instant noodle, then I asked the receiptionist for a microwave. They don't have a microwave but they let the chef cook the instant noodle for me and it looked like a 5 star instant noodle. I was very very impressed and happy for that.

We loved the hospitality of your staffs. I had a great stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the small touches like the well-stocked amenities and modern decor.

The only minor issue was that the hair dryer didn’t work properly, but since it wasn’t a major inconvenience for me, I didn’t report it during my stay. There were at least 3 convenience shops close by to the hotel making food and other supplies so accessible. Aside from that, everything else exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The rooms may be a bit outdated, but they’re very spacious and the bed is super comfy. The hotel gym is the real highlight for me — it’s fully equipped with everything you need for a proper workout. Breakfast also offers plenty of options and great quality.
