Areum Clinic

This was my second visit to the Areum in Cheongdam, and this time I tried out some new treatments. I was a bit worried about communication issues before going, but to my surprise, the doctor right away showed me pictures on an iPad during the consultation. He compared his treatment plan with others, highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages—everything was crystal clear, so I didn’t have to wade through a bunch of technical terms I didn’t understand. Throughout the treatment, the doctor kept an eye on my facial expressions; whenever I frowned, he would ask if it hurt, adjust something, and then continue. As I relaxed later on, he even joked, “It doesn’t hurt now, does it?” The atmosphere was really relaxed. The overall experience was fantastic—no disappointments at all.

The clinic was quite busy, but once I spoke with the consultant and was taken to the treatment room, the service was excellent. The staff all spoke English, understood exactly what I wanted, and made the whole process very smooth and comfortable. I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained and that they delivered exactly the treatment I came for.

It was my first time doing Pico laser and a skin treatment at RPEUM Global Gangnam, and I had a great experience. The clinic is very clean, modern, and comfortable — I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. The staff were professional and attentive, explaining each step clearly and making sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. My skin looked noticeably brighter and more refreshed afterward. They even serve really good coffee, which was such a nice touch ☕️ Overall, I’m very happy with the service and environment. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Gangnam.

I often visited the ppeum clinic in Gangnam and I feel always very welcomed. They speak multiple languages like englisch, chinese and more. The facial treatment and botox treatment make your face glow and look beautiful. The staff is also very polite and guide your through all procedures. Highly recommend!

Came to ppeum global at Gangnam. I got lost coming here by 10 minutes but they all still accepted my reservation (apologies on being late). The clinic is huge and waiting room is plenty wide with different customers coming in and out. They have a nice expresso machine that you can use your voucher for. They have pink binder explaining different promos they have going on along with their price all in I worked with Justin, who was my ENG translator and appreciated his professionalism as well as his proficiency in English since he translated so well. Then you go into the consultation room to talk and discuss treatments and pricing. My consultant was hee Jung. This place doesn’t oversell you procedures but will always advise on skin procedures to add on that they think will be beneficial to you. I appreciate the honesty and transparency. The numbing cream took about 20ish minutes then it was go time. I ended up getting potanza, juvelook, & and aqua peel aftercare. It was about $250ish USD and to me was worth it. The potanza mediocre in pain. I would rate it as 6/10 (out of 10 being painful) until it got around my eye then it just made me tear a bit. The doctor explained when he was going to do the procedure, showed the equipment machines he was gonna use and what areas he would do last because of the sensitivity which I appreciated the communication during the process. The Juvelook was 2/10 in pain scale. The doctor even chatted with me asking where I was from and we talked about his studies when he lived in Michigan state (go Spartans according to doctors college team 😂). Lastly the aqua peel aftercare was my favorite part. So relaxing and soothing which helped calm the irritation from the needles poking into my skin 😅 Honestly I appreciated the clinic not overselling me and pushing me into procedures if I didn’t want it right now and gave me other skin treatments to consider for next time. I get it they will always give options on different procedures that may be more beneficial for oneself. And the communication from their what’s app team was up to par. 👍🏼 from the esthetician, to the doctor, to translator and consultant, along with the assistants who did the numbing and all was professional and sweet! A lot of these skin clinics are factory known and yes ppeum has a lot of other locations but they are efficient and good at their job so your time is well spent. 10/10 would definitely come again and do my future treatments here! came to ppeum multiple times and i think its one of the better clinics around for the price and efficiency. when theres a longer wait, they actually give out free masks/samples and theres also free drinks when you make a reservation. the clinic also looks clean and nice. would recommend!
