Kiwa Hostel

I had an amazing stay in this hostel : the location is really nice and perfect for enjoying the south part of the city! The rooms are one of the best I had in that kind of hotels: modern, clean and comfortable. The showers are also really nice and the lounge area is such well designed and opened 24/7!!
The last thing I really loved about this place is the staff: incredibly friendly and attentive (special mention for my good friend Hong who is an adorable person and I had a wonderful time talking with him 🫶).

Thanks for everything Kiwa Hostel, I’ll definitely come back whenever I’ll travel back to Seoul!!😎

平靓正，一个人旅行推介！设施新净，管理规划良好，唯一需要改善的地方就系上午11点至四点不能留在胶囊房内休息，房内的通风设备希望能够改善，但下次我还是会选择这间旅馆。

3/17(二）入住

13:30先寄放行李，柜台告知16-19才能check in服务，目前还不能check in。

结果晚上回饭店，我被分配到701床，居然是在门口，进进出出有够吵，重点我付的房费还是原价的😭，我差点吐血（而且看订房网站还有两个床位可以卖，应该先保留前面两间床才对）

饭店是老旧饭店整修，一楼跟六楼柜台没门禁，多晚都可以自助check in很方便！

五楼男生房+女生房！

六楼没门禁：外面无人柜台+厕所！

六楼门禁后是24H休息区，提供咖啡、热水、热茶！有男女生分开的沐浴间+厕所。
（洗脸盆：没有提供椅子），有提供洗面奶、化妆水、乳液、牙刷、棉花棒！

七楼：门禁之后，先换鞋，有女生房两大间跟厕所四间，外面有饮水机跟小冰箱，但冰箱里面东西全满的，有点恐怖😱，应该要实施当日清洁服务处理才对！

饭店新装修蛮干净的，楼下有咖啡厅、超商，外面也很多餐厅，有黄仁勋吃的那间烤肉店就在门口😄，鞋子有规定放在落尘区很棒，地上踩的毛毯看起来很干净！

下次价钱合适要入住，我绝对会要求:后面的床位！

入住跟退房都没人在柜台，休息区要门禁卡才能进入，准时11点门禁卡就失效，害我只能在门口等别人出来才能进去，有点不方便。

退房后，要寄放行李，目前等不到人，有点困扰😟

我昨天通过Agoda预订了这家酒店。

整个系统组织有序、便捷舒适。附近有很多餐厅。

住宿条件非常好，性价比超高。

Location is the amazing. It's just 6 min away from COEX. The capsul room is calm and good to sleep as well.

New place. Water all over when showering. Showers are on a different floor than sleeping. Lounge is nice with coffee. Recommend the suite where there's space for your luggage too. Good alternative to hostel with bunk beds.

I definitely recommend this place. Very clean, pretty much new and the staff that works there are very helpful.

I stayed at Kiwa Hostel for 5 nights, and this was my first time ever staying in a hostel as a solo traveler. It was a very last-minute trip, and since it was New Year’s, I booked it without overthinking too much.

Overall, it was good for what it was. The location is a big plus — it’s close to COEX, The Hyundai, and surrounded by lots of restaurants and places to eat, which made getting around and finding food super easy.

I booked a suite thinking it would have an actual door, but it turned out to be a curtain. It was fine, but I do wish it had a door or better soundproofing. You can hear pretty much everything — people opening lockers, the main door, and curtains sliding open. The door also tends to slam when it shuts, which can be noisy, especially at night.

The bathroom was fine overall. It’s modern and mostly clean. My only real inconvenience was that there’s no shower on the 7th floor, so you have to go down to the 6th floor to shower. Some of the showers had issues — the water was either way too hot or the drain was clogged. I ended up using the far-left shower every day because it was the most consistent and normal.

Would I stay here again? Probably not — I’m a bit bougie. 😅
But would I recommend it to solo travelers on a budget? Absolutely. It’s affordable, well-located, and gets the job done if you know what to expect.
