Roynet Hotel Seoul Mapo

Highly recommended! The hotel is perfectly situated with easy access to Yeouinaru Hangang, Hongdae, and Myeongdong. The Airport Bus stop is also conveniently located nearby.

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin room, which was incredibly spacious—large enough to comfortably fit multiple 30-inch suitcases. The 1.2m wide beds were very comfortable and provided plenty of personal space. I was also impressed by the functional design; they provided two chairs in the room and multiple towel hooks, which is rare to find.

The Japanese-style bathroom was a highlight, featuring a bidet toilet and a separate shower area with a built-in vanity for makeup. Everything was clean and well-designed. 10/10, will definitely return!

Ambiance & Space: I loved the rich, reddish wood-toned interior. The furniture feels solid and well-curated, with none of that "low-end" vibe. Note: I stayed in an accessible room, so the bathroom lacked a separate shower screen, but it remained functional.

Cleanliness & Service: The cleanliness was impeccable, and even the hallways had a lovely fragrance. The staff was professional, welcoming, and possessed excellent English skills.

Sleep Quality & Environment: The AC was fully functional in the spring, which was perfect for a cold-sleeper like me. although room-to-room soundproofing was superb, since my room was on the 5th floor facing the street, I could hear noise from modified cars at night. Additionally, possibly due to the proximity to the 3rd-floor smoking area, there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes in the room during the morning. I recommend requesting a higher floor if you are sensitive to smoke.

Facilities & Location: The 10th-floor pantry was a nice touch. The location is perfect: A Twosome Place, McDonald’s, and Olive Young are all right downstairs. It’s a 5-minute walk to a vibrant bistro area and a pleasant stroll to the Michelin-recommended Jinmi Sikdang (soy-marinated crab).

Second time come back to Roynet hotel . Love the location ! First stop from the airport and last stop before leaving the city .

Besides limousine , airport link subway also nearby .It’s also close to Hongdae .

There are Olive young , Starbucks , 7-11 and restaurants nearby . Hotel itself is clean and spacious and the staff are nice too .

Always recommend this hotel to my friend who visit Korea .

We were in awe the moment we arrived. The room is cozy, comfortable, and very spacious. The toilet and bath are separate, Japanese-style, which we really loved.
The hotel also has a café, restaurant, and laundry-everything you need while traveling. I’m so happy I chose this hotel and would definitely recommend it! 🤩♥️

My stay was very disappointing. First, the double room is extremely small — two suitcases nearly fill the whole room, and there’s no way to fully open them. That makes it very inconvenient for anyone who needs to unpack or organize their luggage.

Second, the front desk service was disappointing. When I asked to upgrade because the room was too small, the first staff member said there were no rooms available. I queued again and spoke to a second person who said I could change rooms the next day, so I agreed and paid the difference.

However, after returning to the small room my key card had been deactivated. I went back down and was told both of my key cards were cancelled. I had checked in less than an hour earlier. I ended up queuing twice and spent over 40 minutes trying to get a usable room. After already sitting for 11 hours of travel, I was exhausted and very frustrated.
