LOTTE HOTEL WORLD

5 star with 0 service. The hotel is old. The water doesn’t drain in the shower. You get like this 4 inch high water under your feet when you shower. It’s disgusting. Then you need to wait before the next person can shower. 🧼
When I called for ice at 9:45pm no one pick up the call. I called 3 times before someone picks up. People are sleeping at the desk ? When I check in I was informed I can only use the Lotte World quick access gate if I purchase the ticket with the hotel. I choose this hotel due to close proximity with the amusement park but being a hotel guest doesn’t give you any perks to use the access but you need to walk around the hotel to main entrance. The manager said it’s Lotte regulation you need to buy the ticket from them. Aren’t you Lotte World Hotel ??Most people would have pre booked their tickets in advance. Who buys when they check into the hotel ? Then I was given this quick sheet to the hotel facilities with a QR code to make reservation to hotel restaurant for a 20% discount. You need to sign up membership to make reservations for your meal. The moment you try to login with the new membership, the system says my password doesn’t match. I did a reset and again it doesn’t match. Obviously there is a system issue. Then u have this arrogant staff Min Hee Hong. She is not friendly doesn’t offer help. After numerous try on the phone to book, I walk down to reception only for her to tell me you can walk to the restaurant and make the reservation yourself. I m like ?!??? She didn’t offer to help me make the restaurant reservation or to fix my lotte password. There goes the 5 star service. Honestly, Lotte World Hotel time to train your staff because you’re in the hospitality business. Basically you get 0 service. The good reviews are questionable here. The room doors are facing each other hence when someone open or closes the door, it will wake you up. Korean friend told me it’s too old. Don’t stay there. I should have listened to their advice.

Lotte Hotel World is the absolute perfect base for a Seoul vacation, especially if you want maximum convenience without sacrificing comfort. Having just wrapped up a 4-day, 3-night stay, it’s hard to imagine a better-connected hotel in the city.
### Unbeatable Location & Connectivity
The standout feature of this hotel is its incredible integration into the Jamsil hub.
Direct Access: It is directly connected to the Jamsil Subway Station (Lines 2 and 8), making navigating Seoul incredibly straightforward.
Shopping & Dining: You can walk indoors straight into two massive shopping centers: **Lotte Department Store** and **Lotte World Mall**.
* **Theme Park Proximity:** If you are visiting Lotte World Adventure, the indoor entrance is right there, which is a massive plus if you want to take a midday break and head back to your room.
### Daily Conveniences
Traveling can get exhausting, so the little things matter.
* **On-Site 7-Eleven:** Having a fully stocked 7-Eleven right inside the hotel premises was a lifesaver. It made it incredibly easy to grab quick breakfast items, late-night snacks, or local drinks at regular convenience store prices without having to dress up or leave the building.
* **Reasonable Dining:** While hotel dining usually comes with a massive markup, the restaurants here are priced very reasonably for the quality and service they provide. You get excellent culinary standards without feeling like you're being overcharged.
### Accommodation & Vibe
The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering fantastic views of either Seokchon Lake or the towering Lotte World Tower. The service is classic, high-end Korean hospitality—polite, attentive, and highly efficient from check-in to check-out.
### The Verdict
For a 3-night stay, it eliminates all the usual friction of travel. You don't have to worry about rain, extreme weather, or long commutes because world-class dining, shopping, transit, and entertainment are literally right outside your room door. Highly recommended!

Stayed in the Junior Suite at Lotte Hotel World and it was perfect for a family with two young children. The bunk bed was a lovely touch, and both the living area and bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

Direct access to Lotte World and the mall is extremely convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. Service was excellent throughout, and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel—making transfers seamless. Highly recommended for families.

Super late house keeping. Don’t comeback your room before 3 pm. House keeping team do their best but it seems like lack of team members. I can’t believe my room was bot ready yet until 3PM.

The location is fantastic! You can take green line, hot pink line and just a couple of stations away from bus terminal as well. Probably, the best location to go anywhere.

You can use a fitness center only once per day. Also, it is very far to reach to the fitness center. Very weird location.

However, if you don’t have kids and traveling alone, consider Sofitel. More expensive but much better than this place. I’ve stayed 2 hotel in this year but hands down for Sofitel.

Unfortunately, after making our booking last October through Al Areej Travel agency, my grandmother became seriously ill and sadly passed away shortly after. This was a very difficult time for our family, and I immediately informed the travel agency. They told me they contacted the hotel, and we were thankful to hear that the booking would be postponed with your understanding.

However, until now, I have not received any official confirmation for the postponed booking. The travel agency has informed me that they are still waiting for confirmation from the hotel’s side. Without this confirmation, I am unable to book our flights.

This trip means a lot to me and my children, especially after everything we have been through. I truly hope someone from the hotel team can see this message and kindly assist us in confirming our booking.
