Grand Hyatt Seoul

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt, and it was a truly refreshing experience. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, the sophisticated atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for the rest of my trip. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, offering a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of high-quality options. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in the city. Highly recommended!

We love the Grand Hyatt. My husband is a lifetime globalist, between the Park and the Grand, we prefer the Grand better. We like the river view though the Park offers a more stylish room. Apart from the view, the gym, pool and in particular, the club spa/sauna (which are shared with local members) are also a nice touch. All the staff (whether bellman, front desk, housekeeping and dining) we met at the Grand Hyatt are efficient, attentive and kind, a big big shout out to Wendy Kim at the concierge who went out of her way to find me the hairbrush which I tried so hard to get!!!! Really appreciated!

I have stayed at Grand Hyatt Seoul many times, but this recent visit was truly my best experience yet. While I frequently stay at other 5-star hotels in Gangnam for convenience, they simply cannot compare to the authentic and heartfelt hospitality here, which is free of any pretentiousness.

The hotel facilities and rooms are impeccably maintained and spotless. A highlight of my stay was the Namsan walking trail recommended by the staff; it was absolutely wonderful and allowed me to enjoy a healthy, rejuvenating rest.

I would like to personally recognize two outstanding staff members:

Ash (Front Desk): Ash provided incredibly detailed and attentive guidance, explaining the facilities so thoroughly that it truly enhanced my stay.

Mrs. Jung (Deli/Cafe): She was so thoughtful in explaining how to store my pastries and packaged them with such elegance and care. Thanks to her, I was able to give beautiful and elegant gifts to my friends in Seoul. They absolutely LOVED it!

The breakfast was good, though I missed the previous seating with the better view. I was a bit surprised to be told window seats were full despite seeing vacancies, and I hope the team can double-check availability more carefully next time.

Even after many visits, the genuine kindness of the staff continues to exceed my expectations. This is why I keep coming back.

the room bathroom is sooo squeezy! i think aesthetic wise it didn’t help that they insert a huge wall painting thinking it might create a lengthened vision but NOPE.

we also appreciate this is one of the only hotel we’ve had so far with water dispenser in the room - great for late night instant noodle supper!

my room faced the namsan tower which was lovely against the sunset backdrop it offers.

i do find the room design to be dated. it probably needs a rejuvenation.

I’ve stayed at Grand Hyatt Seoul multiple times, and I always find myself coming back, that alone says everything. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff are always warm, professional, and attentive. The pool, the spa is one of my favorite parts of the experience, truly relaxing and perfect after a long day in the city. I also love the room service and almost always order in, especially breakfast. The food is consistently delicious and arrives perfectly prepared, making mornings feel extra special.

The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and offer beautiful views, and the location is ideal for enjoying Seoul while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Every stay feels memorable, which is why this will always be one of my top choices in the city. Highly recommended!🥂
