Rooms: we booked a queen’s room for 2 adults and 1 kid. Nice views. Reasonable size
Facilities: Very good. complimentary soba at night. Public bath and sauna. There is a wowpass machine right in the lobby. Access to the lounge is allowed for booking through their official website. The lounge is great with free drinks, popsicles and massage chairs
Location: there is a stop for airport bus 6703 right next to the hotel. A few convenient stores along the street. Many shops and restaurants just 10minutes walk away. Sinnonyeon station is just within 10 minutes walk but Gangnam station is 15-20 minutes walk which is a bit far for us. That’s why I gave 4 stars for location.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 night stay here. The rooms are clean, whilst not spacious but roomy enough. The staff are very nice and helpful. The late night free ramen and free ice cream is perfect after each night. There is also a laundry. Washer is free and the dryer is 2k won. Location is very good. There is a metro in either direction of the main road. Gangnam food street is very close by. It is surrounded by three 7-11's! The limousine bus stop to Incheon airport is just next door. The green metro loop line is reachable by foot.
I had really great time here, the hotel offers great service, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet with double door. The public spa/ bath is really good! Breakfast with a lot of options, good price for the location. Only improvement is maybe the pillow is not so comfortable
The staff was super friendly and accommodating! I had an evening flight and they let me keep my bags there after check out. Love the complimentary ramen every night and I recommend getting the breakfast add-on as well. The room was a great size for a solo traveler and I especially liked how quiet the rooms are. My only complaint was that the bed and pillows are solid. The bed itself felt like sleeping on the ground with a sheet over it and the pillows felt like bricks wrapped in more sheets. I gave 5 stars because I don’t want my personal bed preference to bring the rating down as some people might prefer this kind of comfort level. Also, the location is great however it is a slight uphill walk from the Main Street.
Great hotel. Serves great breakfast. Room is a little bit cramped but it is perfect for solo travelers. I recommend them and would love to stay there again.
Amenities at the Insa-dong location are better although this location has bigger rooms. This place does not have Dyson hair dryers at the public bath and they reuse hair brushes. Location is a bit inconvenient as it's up a hill and there isn't much around asides from clinics.
I really enjoyed the signature Japanese-style hospitality at this hotel and always feel comfortable staying here when I travel around Seoul. The staff greet me warmly whenever I see them, which makes the experience very welcoming.
The free late-night ramen with kimchi refill is a great touch, and the complimentary sauna is a huge bonus—something not many hotels in Korea offer. I’ve stayed at Dormy Inn Seoul Gangnam several times, and I’ll be returning again in late April and May. I’m already looking forward to it.
The rooms are a bit small and can only fit one opened luggage, and there’s no gym, which is common for Dormy Inn. Still, it would be great if they could consider adding one in the future. The breakfast buffet is very good, with a wide variety of Japanese and Korean dishes.
Overall, this hotel consistently delivers a pleasant and reliable stay, and I highly recommend it.
