Stayed as a family of 3 — mixed experience
Communication: This was the roughest part. The owner/admin wasn't very responsive, and the self check-in instructions only arrived by email after we had already landed. After a 13-hour flight, having to figure out the door code ourselves with no prior notice was pretty stressful. Clearer, earlier communication would make a big difference.
Room: Good to know for other families — the parents' bed is a twin, not a queen or king, so plan accordingly if you're used to more space.
Bathroom: Not very practical. No hangers for towels, and there's no door separating the shower from the toilet area, so water ends up everywhere. We made it work, but it's not ideal.
Noise: The hostel seemed to be mostly full of families with young kids, and the place isn't soundproof at all. We're not noise-sensitive and traveled with a pre-teen so it wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but light sleepers or those with younger kids should be aware.
The good: Excellent price and unbeatable location in Jongno. The guest amenities were solid, and the kitchen was genuinely useful for a family stay.
Overall: Great value and location, but management needs to improve communication, and the bathroom setup could use some practical fixes.
Choosing this place instead of a traditional hotel exceeded our expectations and made our trip even more enjoyable. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and offered excellent value for money. We also appreciated the simple breakfast and shared kitchen, which made our mornings more convenient.
The location was another highlight—it’s just a short walk from the subway and bus stops, with convenience stores, plenty of restaurants, and even an Olive Young nearby. We had everything we needed within easy reach. Highly recommended!
Great location and easy check in. Very central in quite the party neighbourhood. A little loud in the evening with partiers in the streets and music. Plenty of restaurants, food, convenience stores and only a couple minute walk to the beautiful cheonggyecheon stream walking path.
This was our first time not booking a traditional hotel, and it completely changed our travel experience in the best way possible.
We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and at first, I was honestly a bit hesitant since I couldn’t find many reviews from families. But I’m so glad we took the chance!
The place is very complete, honestly comparable to a hotel in terms of amenities and comfort. It’s also very affordable for a family of four, especially since we visited during BTS week when most hotels and Airbnbs had very high rates. Thankfully, their rates remained reasonable.
Everything was clean and well-prepared. They even provided a simple breakfast, which included eggs, cereals, milk, coffee, juice, bread, and yogurt, very convenient for families with kids.
Another thing I worried about was the location since it’s in the middle of a busy street. I thought it might be noisy, but surprisingly, it was very quiet inside. We had a very comfortable and restful sleep every night.
Lastly, we truly appreciated their kindness, they allowed us to check in early, which was a huge help after a long trip with kids. The hosts were very generous and welcoming.
If we come back to Seoul again, we will definitely book this place again. Highly recommended for families! 💛
The best thing was location. Absolutely flooded with food options. The breakfast and kitchenette option was so great! They had all the necessary items to have yourself a great simple breakfast out to heat up left over dinner too. The place was clean and tidy.
The rooms were very small, and very limited space to hang our jackets, since we traveled in winter. The rooms were comfy and quiet.
