I visited Korea for 10 days. That hotel was the best one I stayed. Esprcially the hotel stuff was extremely kind and helpful. If you wish an exclusive experience, choose Wyndham Busan.

Location ok, room with good view. Hotel wise, too many rules and can be customer centric.

10/10 Luxury Experience, if you are thinking about splurging, this is the place PLEASE experience the breakfast and Sauna. Absolutely incredible! One of the best saunas I have been too, free cold water, amazing amenties, and the sauna itself is super hot and clean. (Not to mention the hot spring view 👀).

Breakfast, everything is fresh, gets cooked right in front of you, the view and coffee is so nice!

The staff deserve so much credit, so dedicated to treat you with kindness and it adds to the luxury experience.

The pool, I didnt have any problems with tattoos getting in, please buy a swim cap at Daiso before hand, if you cannot find thrm there the hotel has them for 11,000 ₩. Again, a nice view!!

The room was incredible, super clean and the beds are soooo comfy!! So important for me is the beds, I hate stiff pillows, this was perfect.

Please note, this is a luxury hotel, breakfast is 55,000 ₩ and the sauna was 27,000 ₩ a bit more on the pricey side, but so worth it.

I would even reccomend staying here even just one night just to experience the luxury!

Never stayed at a Wyndham property before although seen many in the US, the Wyndham Busan was great. Rooms very up to date and new, the staff very polite and helpfull... Great location and the food we had was pretty good, breakfast & room service. It would be nice if they could offer more international English speaking TV channels but otherwise very nice place to stay for a visit to Busan

I had an incredible stay at Wyndham Grand Busan Ljin. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality really stood out, every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The amenities were fantastic and clearly well thought out, making the whole experience feel comfortable and a bit luxurious. What impressed me most was the concierge team, they were always cheerful and ready to help, which made a big difference throughout my stay.

I also really appreciated their check-in system. Instead of waiting around, they had an efficient way to notify guests when rooms were ready, even before the standard 3pm check-in time. It made everything feel smooth and well-organized.

Overall, this stay far exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Busan.

Wyndham Grand Busan – Beautiful Property, Poor Transparency on Amenities

The Wyndham Grand Busan is, on the surface, a very nice property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The views of the bay are gorgeous. The staff were professional, polite, and attentive throughout our stay, and from a purely aesthetic standpoint, the hotel itself is impressive.
That said, there are several important drawbacks that future guests should be aware of before booking.
First, the location. There is very little within walking distance of the hotel. To get to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, or what most people would consider “the action,” you are looking at roughly a 30-minute trip. This becomes especially frustrating when the hotel’s own dining options are either fully booked or prohibitively expensive. On one evening we attempted to dine at the hotel restaurant and were told they were fully booked and that reservations were required. While that is understandable, the lack of nearby alternatives makes this a significant inconvenience. The on-site restaurants are also quite overpriced, leaving few reasonable options if you do not plan ahead.
The main reason I chose this property was the pool and spa, which were heavily emphasized in the hotel’s amenities. While the general pool hours were listed during booking, critical restrictions were not clearly disclosed. I had to navigate to a separate pool and spa webpage to find the information stating that tattoos are not allowed.
As an international hotel operating under an American brand name, this was not something I reasonably expected, especially given how much Korean attitudes toward tattoos have evolved in recent years. I have personally visited Korean spas without issue. More importantly, this restriction was not plainly stated during the booking process, which is where guests make decisions based on amenities.
I am a Wyndham Diamond member, which includes complimentary access to the pool and spa. Notably, these facilities normally require an additional fee, which is already disappointing considering the nightly room rate. Despite this benefit, I was denied entry solely due to having tattoos.
I paid a premium price for this hotel, significantly more than properties closer to dining and entertainment, specifically because of the pool amenity. After being denied access, I requested Wyndham points as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. I was not asking for cash, only points. The hotel declined, stating that the tattoo restriction is “policy” and therefore not discriminatory, even though it was not transparently disclosed at the time of booking.
To be clear, denying access based on tattoos is discrimination by definition. The historical basis for these policies is rooted in outdated associations of tattoos with criminality or gangs. Many cultures around the world have tattoos for cultural, religious, or personal meaning, and it is 2026. Guests should not have to dig through secondary webpages to discover policies that directly impact their ability to use advertised amenities.
Wyndham, and this property in particular, should clearly disclose this policy on the main booking page, not bury it elsewhere.
In summary: • Beautiful, clean property
• Excellent staff
• Poor location with limited nearby options
• Overpriced food and add-on fees for basic amenities
• Major lack of transparency regarding pool and spa access
• Premium pricing without premium inclusivity or value
While the hotel compares well visually to other properties in the area, the high cost and limited usable amenities make it difficult to justify the price. I would recommend this hotel only if you do not care about the pool or spa, do not have tattoos, and are comfortable traveling significant distances for dining and entertainment.

"A bit of a let down"

The hotel is very modern and stylish, with a luxurious feel throughout. The staff are extremely friendly—almost to the point of being overly attentive, which some might find a bit overwhelming. Breakfast was fresh and included a barista-made coffee service, which was a great touch. The bathroom and room views were fabulous, offering a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a short walk to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with several aspects of my stay, especially considering the hotel is rated 5 stars.
Firstly, there are unexpected restrictions around pool usage that were not communicated prior to arrival. Guests are limited to only one pool access per day, including sessions, which feels quite unfair and unrealistic—particularly given the premium rates charged. The room itself was extremely small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. The double bed was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, leading to a very poor night’s sleep. Breakfast was another letdown. It was extremely overpriced for what was offered: mostly pre-made items reheated in a small oven, and not even decent pastries to make up for it. Overall, I expected much more in terms of service, comfort, and transparency. Sadly, the experience did not live up to the 5-star standard.
