Travelodge Suites Busan Centum

Solid location with the nearest subway station approx 8 minutes away and two very large department stores (SSG and Lotte) just north of the station. Room is large with separate stalls for a shower and toilet, and it’s nice to have a table and two chairs. Only downside is a bit of sewer smell from the drain the toilet, though can prevent most of it via running the toilet fan. I would recommend this accommodation.

Had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and having free Netflix on the TV was a nice bonus. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Also free parking!

Rooms were clean, very new and comfortable.
Staff was friendly and location good.
Only compliant is the amount of ambient lights in the room that can't be turned off.

Great Travelodge hotel situated in Busan Centum.

Everything looks fresh and new. I had a duplex room with lots of space. Book via the Travelodge website instead of via a third party website. Usually they offer good deals with a night for free when you book more than two nights.

Pro’s:

Location is great in an area with lots of shops, good restaurants and coffee shops. The nearest subway station is 5 minutes away.

Nice Ocean view. Too bad I had a lower floor but I can image the views from the 30th floor and above are great.

Comfortable bed, a clean room and a nice seating area. Fresh new towels were placed in a bag in front of the room every day.

Rooms are soundproof and you only hear some minor traffic noise from cars entering the Gwangandaegyo bridge.

Cons:

For non-Korean travelers the airconditioning system is too complicated and instructions (in English) are minimal. I was able to control the lighting and water temperature but couldn’t adjust the room temperature.

Rooftop garden is closed. There’s a sign it’s closed from 14 november till 16 november 2025 but in april 2026 it was still closed. At least refresh the information instead of a dated sign.

Suggestions:

Place some larger recycle bins for bottles, cans and plastic in the hallway or near the elevator. There’s only a small trashcan in the room which is filled up quickly.

The floor in the rooms is not suited for heavy luggage. Although this hotel is very new there were already lots of dents in the floor. Probably from rolling trolleys or people who smashed their suitcase on the ground.

There’s a kitchenette in the room but apart from two cups there are no utensils. Small investment I think.

This is the worse hotel that i ever booked. I make a reservation on 13-Jan for BTS concert during 9-14 June and already got confirmation e-mail. But two days later the hotel send me a cancellation notice.
Right now every hotel in Busan crazy increase their price during BTS concert. Very selfish and awful.
