SIGNIEL BUSAN

Our stay at Signiel Busan was absolutely exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel felt elevated, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

First, the location could not have been any better. Just a short walk to Haeundae Beach, it was the perfect base for enjoying Busan. And the views—absolutely breathtaking. Our room had a balcony (yes, a balcony!) overlooking the ocean, and waking up to that view each morning felt surreal. Sitting outside with the sea breeze and hearing the waves was pure magic.

The room itself was stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt luxurious yet welcoming. The bed was heavenly, the space was serene, and honestly… we did not want to leave.

What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff. The service was impeccable but also so warm and personal. Having tea brought to our room was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel genuinely cared for. It is rare to find a luxury hotel that feels this polished while also feeling so personal.

And the breakfast buffet—simply outstanding. Every morning felt like a feast. The spread was beautifully laid out and absolutely delicious. Freshly made eggs, dumplings, soup, fresh fruit, pastries… we were completely spoiled. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had.

Everything about Signiel Busan speaks to excellence: the unbeatable location, breathtaking ocean views, luxurious rooms, extraordinary staff, and incredible dining. This is not just a hotel stay—it is an experience.

If you are visiting Busan and want a stay that is elegant, memorable, and deeply relaxing, this is an absolute must. We would return in a heartbeat. Five stars do not do it justice.

We stayed at the Signiel Busan for four nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautiful and the location on Haeundae beach was fantastic. Everything about this hotel is special. They did not miss a detail. The breakfast buffet had many delicious options and we loved the coffee service. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the Dim Sum lunch at Chaoran, a Michelin recognized restaurant. We used the gym while staying at the hotel and it had everything you would want in a fitness center. We did not get to use the inviting indoor or outdoor pools....that will be for our next visit. Rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable, and impeccably clean. When I used the hair dryer, I was surprised and impressed that it was a Dyson hair dryer. I don't think I have ever stayed at a hotel where you in room hair dryer was Dyson. If you are coming to Busan (an amazing city), you will not want to stay anywhere but here. I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you to the wonderful, professional and service oriented staff!

I had a wonderful experience here in January! I love the Signiel Seoul, so I knew the Signiel Busan would be just as excellent.

Our room had a beautiful view of both the beach and the city. I adored the floor to ceiling windows. The location is also good as it's right on the beach.

Their breakfast buffet was another highlight. I prefer their buffet over the one at their Seoul hotel. Although our table was given to another couple after we got our food, which was a bit strange, but they then sat us at a different table.

Staying at SIGNIEL Busan was a truly unforgettable experience and my first introduction to SIGNIEL, the top luxury brand under Lotte Hotels. With this stay and an upcoming visit to SIGNIEL Seoul, it is clear why the brand represents the pinnacle of luxury hospitality in Korea. SIGNIEL Busan holds a prestigious two Michelin Key distinction, the highest recognition in South Korea, shared only with its sister property in Seoul.

Occupying South Korea’s second tallest building, the hotel sits at the very end of Haeundae Beach, offering a sense of exclusivity and openness that is rare. Even in winter, the beach felt pristine and breathtaking, stretching endlessly in front of the hotel and creating a calm, almost cinematic atmosphere.

I stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Mipo Harbor View, and the experience was elevated in every way. From sunrise to sunset, the ocean views were mesmerizing, especially when enjoyed with in-room dining breakfast. The suite’s muted palette of greys and deep blues added to the ultra luxurious and serene mood.

Public spaces throughout the hotel are just as impressive, from the grand lobby adorned with striking artworks to the indoor and outdoor infinity pools overlooking the sea. The extensive sauna, with its multiple temperature pools, was a highlight and a perfect way to unwind.

Dining experiences were equally memorable. Breakfast at The View was both elegant and scenic, Chaoran delivered refined Chinese cuisine as a Michelin selected restaurant with luxurious ingredients and beach views, and afternoon tea at The Lounge offered beautifully layered savoury and sweet bites paired with an extensive tea selection. Combined with warm, anticipatory service, this stay truly showcased why SIGNIEL Busan holds its two Michelin Key status.

Great service and staff all around. From check in to restaurant and room service. I used my Amex points to book during the Seollal (Korean New Year). We were upgraded to a double ocean view, given a $100 credit, and explained in detail any amenities I inquired about.

They even dry or press three articles of clothes per person, per day! The buffet is on point with the best, and had an amazing selection of American, Korean, European and other Asian influences. They even have bacon cooked two ways (crispy and regular)! The details are very impressive.
