Shilla Stay Seocho

Location is great, price is reasonable. It’s may need a refreshing. Breakfast is good for people who like Asian style and hot stuff. European bakery lovers will be disappointed.

Shilla Stay Seocho is in an excellent location and was a convenient choice for our stay in Seoul. We had to cut our trip to Japan short because my wife became quite ill, and we booked this hotel at the last minute after returning to Korea. Considering the circumstances, we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the overall quality of the facilities.

The only downside was the air-conditioning system. It appeared to be centrally controlled, and the air conditioning did not run continuously throughout the day and night. Instead, it seemed to switch on and off according to a timer. Unfortunately, this made the room temperature rise to around 29°C overnight, which was particularly difficult for my wife as she was running a fever.

When we contacted the front desk, the staff did their best to help and told us they would keep the air conditioning running for as long as possible. We appreciated their efforts, although it was still the most disappointing aspect of our stay.

I would also like to thank Jordan Lee, Front Office Leader, who kindly gave us a small Korean souvenir at check-out. It was a simple gesture, but his handwritten note was genuinely touching and left a lasting impression. In fact, every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help.

If you are looking for a hotel in Seoul with a great location and staff who speak English well, I would definitely recommend Shilla Stay Seocho.

Our experience at Shilla Stay Hotel Seocho was absolutely fantastic. The hotel boasts a modern, clean, and relaxing atmosphere, with a stunning panoramic city view visible from the higher floors.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a plentiful and delicious variety of both Western and Korean options to kick-start the day. The in-room amenities were comfortable and well-appointed, and the gym facilities were equally impressive.

Special thanks to Jordan Lee at the front desk. When we accidentally missed our KTX train to Busan, Jordan went above and beyond to help us find alternative transportation options. His patience and proactive assistance turned a stressful situation into a seamless experience.

Overall, a wonderful stay with exceptional service. I highly recommend Shilla Stay Hotel Seocho to anyone visiting Seoul!

Location is Gangnam so it’s very close to everything for tourists. Super walkable area. The service is great, they even let me check in early and out slightly late due to my late lunch reservation. Very accommodating and provide all the necessary toiletries. When checking in, the receptionist also check with you if you wanted a bathtub or standing shower in your room. They even gave me a very cute bookmark as a parting gift.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Korea last month. The hotel was very clean, the atmosphere was lovely, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming.

I especially want to give a shoutout to one of the staff members, Owen Park. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. On the day we checked out, he even wrote us a message in Chinese after finding out we were from Taiwan, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture.

It’s small details and genuine hospitality like this that make a hotel stay truly memorable. Thank you again for the amazing service, I would happily stay here again in the future!

Shilla Stay is a chain hotel and It’s located conveniently. Rooms are standard size and are clean. Breakfast is the same regardless of which Shilla stay you are staying in.
