Haeundae Seacloud Hotel

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel in an ocean view room. To be fair, the view was spectacular and the room itself was spacious. Unfortunately, those were the only positive aspects of our stay.

The furniture in the room was very basic and felt quite old, which made the overall experience less comfortable than expected. One major issue was the air-conditioning. It only operates from 7am to 7pm. During our stay at the end of March, the temperature was already quite warm, and at night the room became uncomfortable. The only alternative was a small window opening, which barely allowed any cool air in.

The bathroom design was also disappointing. Despite the large room, the bathroom was small and poorly planned. The basin was unusually low, and there was a glass panel positioned right above it. This made it inconvenient and even risky to use as you had to be careful not to hit your head while washing your face.

Another concerning issue was with the shower gel provided. We used it throughout our stay, but by the second night, my wife noticed it seemed diluted. At first, we thought we might be mistaken. However, by the last night, it was clearly just water. While we didn’t report it as we were leaving early the next morning, it left a very negative impression.

Overall, while the view and room size were good, the poor facilities, uncomfortable conditions, and questionable housekeeping standards made this a disappointing stay.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I really want to question their 4 star status. The room smells funky and the air conditioner stops working at 10pm and instead of turning off, it blows hot air. When I asked the front desk about it. The guy nonchalantly says the ac blows hot air after 10pm. Its april and i am sweaty. Imagine how the summer would be. Terrible. He did say we can open the window but. The wind does not blow into our room.... i also got bit by a mosquito over night and was extremely uncomfortable. The 2 stars is really for location. Was a very bad experience.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
• There was someone else’s hair and unidentified stains on the bed sheets.
• The TV remote control was sticky and visibly dirty.
• There was a strong unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom.
• The floors in the room were sticky.
• There was an information booklet in the room (also dirty and sticky) stating that clean bed linen could be ordered separately for approximately 30,000 KRW.
• I specifically booked a sea view room, but we were given a room with only a partial view where the sea was visible only halfway.

It is unacceptable to pay for a hotel room and then be expected to pay extra for basic cleanliness, such as clean bed sheets. This should be a standard, not an additional paid service. It is also misleading to advertise a room as “sea view” when in reality it is only a partial view.

I sincerely do not recommend this hotel.

One thing's for sure; this hotel's location is excellent. It's right in the heart of Haeundae's bustling city center. I think the hotel and rooms are in need of renovations. I think the hotel needs to provide security in the elevators and a security guard in the rooms. The service is quite responsive. View from my 29th floor very nice.

Very nice place! Spacious with the required amenities. Just the shower area is kind of space and no enough space to put the clothings. Generally the location is quite good. Enjoy the first sight of the sea when I woke up every morning.
