Almost definitely a good 4 star hotel, rooms are spacious, huge bathrooms, and we had the luck of having a good view of the beach, and not the other side where displays of BTS this and that are bright as hay…
Service is good with great staff who can speak English very well, got our bags delivered to our respective rooms by the bellhops, though not sure about the parking as we were driven by our tour guide and he went elsewhere to park the van.
Rooms were spacious and modern, bathrooms were huge and you definitely get a choice of shower or bath, or both! Power plugs availability were a bit subpar compared to the Booyoung Jeju hotel, but usable for my medical stuff and phone. Beds were comfortable and I had no issues.
Location is great - everything you need is within walking distance, even a great 60Chicken shack (sorry, I forgot exactly its name) or the nearby micro-markets and other sports. Haeundae beach is lovely and very nearby - lighting is there, even for late night or early morning. You could do an evening thing or an early morning run, no problem and it’s safe.
Great to go to, highly recommended!
My wife and I have been fortunate to travel widely and stay in many excellent hotels. What really elevates an excellent hotel into an exceptional one (like the Grand Josun Busan) is its staff. We’ve only just begun our stay here, and we already feel so glad we chose this hotel.
We received truly outstanding service from Ilnam Yun at the concierge desk. We needed help booking baseball tickets on a Korean‑only website (which is renowned for being difficult for locals to navigate let alone foreigners). Ilnam not only secured great seats for us (after chasing down a colleague who barracks for the local team for advice) but also guided us on the best train route and station to disembark.
He then arranged an early check‑in and had our luggage collected from storage before escorting us to the elevator to check that our room pass worked. It was one of the best concierge experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world.
Thank you, Ilnam.
Located on Haeundae Beach the Grand Josun offers direct access to the beach. Rooms are spacious with a pod type coffee machine. Level 8 is a special children’s floor with specially designed rooms with bunk beds and child care necessities. Staff are helpful. Rooms have bath robes and housekeeping will supply an iron. Laundry facilities are on site. Breakfast is extensive and good quality and you can see the ocean. Indoor and outdoor pools and gym are free to guests. Art exhibitions are a feature on level 4.
We had a good stay at Grand Josun hotel. Everything was impeccable from start till finished. Service was warm and friendly, staff was always ready to help. Lobby was bright and beautiful. We only managed to get a partial ocean view room , room size is decent not big. Room is clean, Aircon was cold. Bathing amenities was nice smelling too. Location is great, lots of restaurants just across the street and subway too.
Great location overlooking Haeundae beach. Worth paying the extra for a room with an ocean view. Rooms are comfortable but not really 5 star standard. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Only 3 lifts so sometimes wait can be long and the lift stops on many floors on the way down.
