It’s a decent hotel located right beside a bus stop (including airport limousine bus). It’s near Haeundae’s main street, beach and the food market.
The room is decent, enough size for a solo traveller. It was clean and orderly, I had a good sleep.
The staff were friendly in general but turns a bit impatient when they are having a hard time explaining things in english. There was this one particularly grumpy male staff, I asked him about airport trains, he said he doesn’t know.

Good location at Hyeundae and generally friendly and helpful staff. However, due to the location and poor sound insulation, you can hear the traffic VERY clearly all night until 3 am everyday; despite being on the 15th floor. Room is tiny, with no room for luggage. Beware of the sharp bed edges. Had an average of one nasty cut each day, as a welcome home gesture from the hotel. Overall, not a pleasant or recommended stay - and potentially a safety hazard.

I recently stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Busan from 21 to 24 February 2026, and I had a truly pleasant experience.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a wonderful job ensuring everything was spotless each day. I would also like to commend the counter staff for being polite, attentive, and friendly — their warm service made check-in and check-out smooth and welcoming.

The hotel’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities. I also felt very safe during my stay, as the security measures in place were reassuring and well-managed.

Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Busan.

The good:
Prime location with lots to do, an accommodating staff, and good price. The breakfast buffet is also good bang for your buck in Korea.

The bad:
Tiny rooms, while not uncommon in Korea it’s good to set expectations as you will be crammed especially if you have any luggage. The air conditioning was also locked in the building causing it to be extremely stuffy and the rooms were hot, ridiculous as there was no air circulation at all. We had to leave the window open 24/7 and use a mini ac unit we got from the front desk to make it livable (it was 27 in the room on our arrival).

One of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed from a Marriott group hotel. I booked a high floor and king size bed room but the room is so small for how much it is per night ($180USD) and the view is horrible (see photo). The view is blocked.

They also turn off the aircon (AC) at night and expect us to open the window due to some guest saying it’s too cold. The room became warm and I didnt sleep well.

I suggest you stay somewhere else and not this hotel.
