K-Grand Hostel Myeongdong

明洞の中心にありお買い物などのアクセスは抜群です。
夜も意外と外の音が響くことはありませんでした。
6月中旬に滞在。ちょうどホテルの入ってるビルの一階フロアが工事中で、入り口がわかりにくくなっています。（最初は工事用の入り口かと思いました笑）
受付の方は優しく対応してくださいます！
部屋に専用のバスルームがありお手頃だったため予約しましたが、予約サイトの写真ような明るさはなく、入り口、廊下は薄暗く雑然としておりました🤣
シャワーはあるものの水圧はなく、ただ水が流れるようなもの（笑）
部屋もなかなかにコンパクト。
女子2人でダブルベットでしたが、大きなキャリーだと広げるのも一苦労です。
窓らしい窓もなく陽が入らないのが少し残念。
とにかく寝るだけならいいかと思います！
これまでも明洞のホステル系を利用してきましたが、2回目はないかな…というのが個人的感想です。

在Agoda下订住3晚4503元，要记得不能看google map的地址，不能不能不能很重要说三次‼ ️要看Agoda的地址，不然就是找BANILA.CO旁边就是入口‼ ️
这里的地址会连到OYO Hotel和24小时超市

很适合背包客入住，厕所非常小，洗脸盆更小😂无法忍受恶臭不要住这里！他们的排水管没有阻臭功能

床虽然有赃污的颜色，但是是有洗过的，至少没发痒。环境也算干净卫生，公共区域有垃圾桶、桌椅可吃饭，禁烟房。住多少晚都不会有人来清洁，退房把卡片丢到盒子里。

楼下是明洞夜市，但墙壁隔音很好，听不到外面的声音。可是室内的内墙跟门隔音就不好了，可以互相听到声音。

This place is renamed to Oyo Hostel myeongdong 1. Utter atrocious and hopeless staff. Please read my detailed review before booking

1) Bath towels are not provided. They claim they provide towels but provide 4 piece of hand towels and place them on the bed. Ridiculous. Additional deposit of 10000KRW is needed

2) Same for adaptor, additional deposit needed.

3) Rooms are small, I believe it was advertised as 16sqm on Agoda but it's barely 10sqm, including bathroom.

4) Rooms are FILTHY. Dust, rust everywhere! Ridiculous standard.

Let's get into the absolute nightmare of security concerns. Coming from a hotelier, I guarantee you this is not practiced ANYWHERE worldwide. Even €5 a night hostel in Europe isn't so garbage.

5) no form of verification is made during check in. If you arrive after 10pm, they leave your key cards and welcome letter, stating your full name and stay period ON THE COUNTER WITH NO STAFF IN SIGHT. Literally anyone can take it and access the rooms !

6) in addition to above, no staff on site after 10pm. Have you ever considered safety or emergency situation? You expect foreigner to know who to call in event of fire or medical ? This is an unacceptable practice and major safety breach.

7) Returned back to room (after 10pm) after a whole day out and found the toilet is locked from the inside. Good job housekeeping, can't use the toilet the whole night because of this and NO STAFF ON SITE. Worst part of it, hostel staff is not responsive via text("Emergency number") and even tried blaming it on us after we checked out.

8) towel racks in room are not even secured properly. Placed 2 bath towels on top and entire rack fell. Had to DIY to fix it back because the staffs are truly incompetent.

9) While it's located centrally, it's above a restaurant with 140 decibel music blaring through (yes I measured). Try resting my friends.

10) "Breakfast" provided is literally plain bread and jam. I think you eat better anywhere in the world lol.

Do not expect ANY form of amenities or service if you are booked here. Prices are about US100 a night but the standard is worse than €5 hostels. Utter disappointment and will never return.

Absolutely garbage of a place. Do not book unless you want your trip ruined.

The manager is disrespectful, the rooms are not very clean. The only friendly are the employees. The administrator does not return the money if you complain about the bad service.
I do not recommend going.

Yes it is very small but its a hostel anyway what do you expect. The room is very clean and comfortable for me, only the bathroom got clogged up everytime we shower but i think that’s why they give the thick sandals maybe to avoid our feet get inundated. Its located in myeongdong street which is tourist heaven but you have to pull your luggage to reach this place. Breakfast was good. The staff was very good and handsome, he helped us when we got lost in the map although clearly we had some language barrier. Considering the location and stuff i couldn’t be more satisfied, so 5 stars indeed.

This is a hostel, the room is so small for me, bed linen is very dusty, bathroom is not properly to use, face tissue that I got is very limited
But quiet cold bcoz the weather and quite calm in there

不僅排水孔堵塞，床單更換後更髒，使用過的毛巾也未更換，垃圾桶也沒清，入房前未告知如何為超時如何不能退押金，櫃檯寫說超過十一點一小時還能退一萬塊押金，但店員告知就是超時不退，不是他的問題，不建議來，超爛，爛到爆，不是錢不錢的問題，是感覺很差

平價旅舍，還好有冷暖氣，没有什麼服務，簡單早餐自行料理
