环境差,用具很肮脏,而且安全欠佳,职员甚至会在未通知你的情况下,派遣陌生男人进入你的房间维修,体验极差,非常不安全
For our 6-day, 5-night Seoul trip, we chose DK Hotel. It's really close to the subway and bus stops, especially the 6002 Incheon Airport bus which goes to Ewha Womans University Station. Transportation is incredibly convenient (the airport bus is fantastic!). Seoul has many bus options, making it even more convenient than the subway!
Using Google Maps to check bus routes is very easy. For the subway, use Hancho Station – the subway lines are close to the elevators. Ewha Womans University is very close to Hongdae, and getting to Myeongdong is also quite convenient.
We slept in a four-person room (two people per room), each with a double bed, costing less than 2,000 won per person per night. There was a microwave, washing machine, and refrigerator available! This was really convenient in Seoul during winter when food often gets cold and we often bought too much to eat.
The washing machine doesn't have a dryer, but the room is well-ventilated, so clothes dried indoors. There are also CU and 7-Eleven nearby! It's a residential area, so it's very quiet. The beds at DK were also very comfortable and suited our long day of walking! The bed has a heating function, and the room temperature is adjustable with both air conditioning and underfloor heating.
During my stay at DK, I felt right at home every day. The slippers were very comfortable, and the shampoo, shower gel, and toiletries were great! They smelled wonderful! The hairdryer was also nice and smooth. They even provided cookware, plates, cutlery, and hand soap, which was really useful for a clean person like me—no need to bring my own!
You need to take out the trash yourself; it's on the right-hand side of the door—I don't think it's inconvenient!
You might hear some noise from upstairs at night, probably because the upstairs guests are packing. The floor area is definitely large enough for a suitcase to open completely.
If you have any questions, you can use private messaging, which is quite convenient, and the replies are quick. Overall, I had a very pleasant week at DK. I would definitely stay here again!
我觉得这家民宿很不错。
浴室有点小,但床单、毛巾、床铺和房间都很干净。附近有很多便利设施,而且离地铁站也很近,非常方便。
Located approximately a 5-minute walk from Ewha Womans University Station. Situated within the Ewha Womans University shopping district, it boasts numerous restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, with self-check-in and check-out; guests are responsible for disposing of their own trash. It includes a refrigerator, washing machine, IH stove, and basic tableware. Towels, shower gel, dish soap, hairdryer, and kettle are provided; while toothpaste is provided, it is recommended to bring your own for personal hygiene.
However, the refrigerator compressor makes a knocking sound every few hours; the pipes are damp, which may attract damp flying insects. Overall, the room is tidy, clean, and quiet. Room communication is via the booking platform's internal messaging system.
The room is small, but it contains almost everything you need.
I stayed at DKHOUSE which was near the Ewha university subway station during the quarantine that was mandatory for all visiting foreigners.
I thought the price was very fair; it was close to somewhere 750usd for 2 weeks and I also bought a meal pkg which delivered 2 meals a day for 2 weeks which was equivalent to 250usd more or less.
Everyone is different so I don't know how others will feel, but I was very content in staying there. I also brought other things to do and study and watched a lot of movies, lol. The room was clean and was ready for my stay. There were 6 2 Liter water bottles. I needed 2 more in the end and my family brought me some. If you need anything very personalized, make a list and ask whoever is taking you there to bring it with them. That's what I did and my family only had to come to drop off some stuff only at the beginning of the second week. I ended up leaving a lot of food mainly because it was too much for me. I thought the meals were great and I looked forward to eating it every time. I had to freeze a lot of leftovers as that was the ordinance by the government and you can take the trash out only on the last day when you leave.
Oh, they also have a little kitchenette. A pot, a frying pan, a cutting board, a knife, and a pair of scissors were provided along with 3 sets of plates and bowls, cups and spoons and chopsticks. They also have an electric kettle.
The staff replied to my text fairly quickly.
It was pretty quiet. I wasn't bothered by my neighbors and they were barely making any noise, but the neighborhood around the hotel must have some construction going on; I always heard pounding sound from afar. Even then, it didn't bother me. I just noticed it because it was so quiet in general.
I have to say I enjoyed staying at DKHOUSE.
Very good service. Kind attention and excellent food. A nice place to self quarantine with everything you need.
