I finally went to a clinic recommended by a certain Instagram influencer in her 50s, a place I'd been wanting to visit for a long time. The consultation was conducted only by female staff; the doctor didn't appear until the procedure itself. The doctor quickly performed the procedure and left the room immediately. I had a thread lift and a skin booster, but the anesthetic was too strong, and the right half of my face sagged and remained tight. My mouth area was also noticeably drooping on the right side. The post-procedure explanation included, "Thread lifts don't correct asymmetry, they lift sagging skin, so don't worry. The numbness on the right side will probably go away once the anesthetic wears off," which almost made me cry. After about two days, the obvious asymmetry had almost completely disappeared, but it wasn't perfect. I had expected the flabbiness around my mouth to lift after the thread lift, but it didn't lift at all. It cost around 100,000 yen, and it felt pointless. There are reviews saying it was great, so maybe it just wasn't a good fit for me, but it's more expensive than other clinics (which is why I had high expectations), and the female staff after the procedure were unhelpful. I don't think I'll go back. It was disappointing.

However, when I actually went, a female staff member did the consultation... and they refused to do the thread lift for various reasons. What was the point of going...? I went three times and had other procedures done, but they still wouldn't do the thread lift... I suppose there are various reasons like skin elasticity, but... I guess the director does the consultations himself for people with mega-influencer-level influence... In fact, there are videos circulating of the director having meals with these influencers... But for ordinary people... You'll understand if you go, haha. But influencers get significant discounts, while we pay the regular price...

I went to Duol Clinic in Korea! I was impressed with the careful treatment I received this time as well. After my last treatment, my skin felt great and the dullness was significantly reduced. They really take each person's skin condition into consideration, and are very skilled at what they do. The doctor and staff are very kind, and I'll definitely be going back.

This was my second thread lift. When I was handed the stuffed animal, I was excited as they said, "It's about to begin." I had both the thread lift and Ultherapy treatments done at the same time, and the areas that bothered me lifted more than I expected, so I'm very satisfied. They were also holding an event, and I won big when I drew lots. I'm looking forward to coming back, as I can use the tickets next time. I'm very satisfied with this clinic.
