YangYoonDol Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I had chin advancement surgery (two-stage surgery) on November 30th! My chin looks beautiful and I'm very satisfied. The doctor, staff, and interpreter were all very kind, and the follow-up was perfect, so I felt at ease ❤

I was very hesitant, but I decided to have the surgery here because the consultation was kind and the explanations were detailed. I was worried about significant swelling after the surgery, but it seemed to gradually improve after about two weeks. The director and nurses helped put me at ease before the surgery and treated me well during my follow-up visits as well. It has been about a month now, and I feel more comfortable speaking and my appearance seems more natural. Thank you.

I had my facial contouring surgery (three-point osteotomy) at Yang Yun-dol Clinic. I had consultations at four hospitals, including this one, but Dr. Kang was the only one who actually touched and examined my face. During the consultations at other hospitals, I was only told that double jaw surgery wasn't necessary, but Dr. Kang explained in detail that double jaw surgery was possible if I planned to have philtrum reduction surgery in the future, but that a dramatic change couldn't be expected. This gave me confidence in him. The interpreter was also very kind and stayed by my side throughout my follow-up appointments at the clinic, which made me feel very secure. Immediately after the surgery, I was amazed to find that the cheekbones that had always bothered me were gone, and my face felt smaller. The aftercare during my overnight hospital stay was excellent; all the nurses were kind and came immediately when I called, even in the middle of the night. I chose Yang Yun-dol Clinic because of its long history in bone contouring, and I'm so glad I did!

The doctor needs to learn how to respect patients first. When I tried asking some questions he said can you listen to me first? So I waited. And then when it’s finally ok for me to ask he just answered very carelessly and with annoyance. And hurried to leave the room without me clearing up things. I felt so disrespected, more because I went with my mom. We asked for the doctor’s apologies but only got other staff to attend to us. I only saw the arrogance from the doctor. The other staff were even much better than the doctor himself. Those other doctors I visited who did unpaid consultation even did with much more care and respect.

I was here for wisdom tooth extraction. The surgery went smoothly and the doctors and nurses are very professional. Procedures were well explained before the surgery and the doctor will keep on update you on the status during surgery. There isn't much of the pain feeling during the process and i can resume eating a few hours after the surgery. A very friendly clinic for foreigners and highly recommended if you are seeking professional services here.
