It felt like the hotel interior was clean and well-maintained—I liked it! I especially appreciated how friendly the female staff member at the front desk was. I think if the front desk staff are unfriendly, you can tell how the place is managed even before you enter the room. That's just my personal opinion as a seasoned business traveler, haha. Anyway, I had a great rest!
I am very satisfied with the pleasant room and the friendliness of the staff.
I especially wanted to thank the female front desk staff member.
Thanks to you, I had a very restful stay.
The advantage is that the room is large.
The disadvantage is that there is no door to the shower room, only to the toilet.
There is no wall separating the room from the shower.
It smells of cigarettes.
The staff are quite decent.
You can cook ramen for free on the second floor.
I wouldn't really recommend it. I stayed in a Business Twin with a friend, and an unknown spider kept appearing on the bed. Also, the bathroom door was broken and kept opening, so I had to hold a trash can up to wash and use the toilet. It was also unpleasant that they called us at 11:30 to tell us to leave even though check-out was at 12:00.
It's a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Koto Station.
Both the exterior and interior strongly retain their motel past.
Even after remodeling, it's still available for short stays, so cleaning is done at a wide range of times.
The double room was spacious enough, and the sofa and table made it convenient for meals.
The bathtub is long and narrow, allowing you to stretch out your legs while bathing.
Showering wets the entire floor, including the toilet, but bathroom slippers are provided.
There's a hairdryer and a hair straightener, and plenty of amenities.
Three types of charging cables are provided.
Upon check-in, the refrigerator contains two bottles of mineral water, one bottle each of orange juice and sikhye (a Korean rice drink). However, these are not replenished during consecutive stays; you can take as many as you like from the refrigerator next to the front desk on the first floor.
There's a coffee machine at the front desk, offering unlimited Americano, weak Americano, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino.
A microwave is also available.
The double-glazed windows provided excellent light blocking, but poor soundproofing; I could hear footsteps from the floor above and doors opening and closing on the same floor.
Footsteps were faintly audible even with earplugs.
The underfloor heating made the room quite warm even when the outside temperature was -10 degrees Celsius, and it could be adjusted with a wall switch.
The TV, lights, and air conditioner could all be controlled with a single remote.
The only Japanese-language channel available was NHK World Premium.
You could also select movies on the in-room computer and watch them on the TV (the selection was limited).
The 2 PM checkout time was very unusual even in Seoul, and they held my luggage after checkout.
