They have a bit of a challenging way to check in, some of them aren’t with staff at the reception so it can be a bit difficult to know or where to be
The studio was big for Korean hotel and accommodation standards but good in price
The studio was fine, bed was comfy, quite quiet surroundings
It was fine, the rooms are as shown in the ads. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Well equipped though small kitchen. Close to some amenities
Worst experience ever I had.
Absolutely do not stay here.
First of all, there was no one at the front desk. I had to call a Korean phone number to get assistance.
Then they told me there was no record of my reservation—even though I had already paid in advance. I showed them the payment confirmation email, but they still couldn’t find it, blaming it on a “system issue.”
The woman who eventually came to the front desk couldn’t speak either English or Japanese, and had to use translation software on a computer to communicate everything.
After about an hour of waiting, I was told that the room I had reserved would be available only for tonight, but I’d have to move to a smaller room tomorrow.
After checking in, I went out shopping, exhausted—only to return and find the door password they gave me was incorrect, so I couldn’t get back into the room.
There were no bath towels provided either.
I asked to speak to the manager, or at least someone who speaks English, and was told that no one would be available until Monday.
This is unbelievable.
It is like a short term rent of a Korean Office-Tel. You can feel some sort of homestay without a host. It is just a reasonable method of accommodation and lodging with adequate cost. However, most of rooms are having flaws, and management is quite bad.
Everything looks fine and fair, but somethings are out of order or having some flaws. It is just merely meeting bare minimum standard if you are lucky. Some rooms are not meeting minimum standard.
Sometimes you may need to request cleaning again because of some uncleaned spots.
You can enjoy several smart TV features including YouTube and Netflix apps, and the variety of channel selection from local cable TV subscription is somewhat basic. The TV is UHD TV with basic refresh rate.
Customer service is fine, but it is limited while out of extended office hours.
Several convenience stores and restaurants are located at the first floor, but it is difficult to access the main elevator because the main entrance for residence building is little bit hidden, so I think it is difficult to locate the main entrance for first-time guests.
The subway station is also located nearby, so I see the location is fine to stay for a while.
Additional flip-flops/slippers are not complimentary. Body Lotion is not provided.
You may smell some odor from the restroom due to the ventilation system issue.
You should read provided guest instruction paper and information webpage provided through text message.
I think this accommodation is 2-star level, and this might be not giving good experience.
There might be some security issue because there is no deadbolt. Insider or delinquent employee might sneak into the room to steal something inside.
The room does not have a door latch to secure the room while sleeping.
Disclaimer: I got this through my family's gift. However, my review is honest.
The hotel is modern and clean, with all the expected amenities including smart home technology. It is located close to a subway station. For foreigners, more English signage and instructions are needed. The smart home controls and audio announcements are only in Korean currently. The room cleaning schedule was unclear - I expected cleaning every 3 nights for my 5 night stay, but this was not the case. Large bath towels should also be provided. The anti-theft door sensors are too sensitive to normal sounds.
Overall, the hotel is likely better suited for Korean guests at this time. The views are nice and the location next to the Songdo Beer Festival is a plus - we could see the fireworks clearly from our room. With some adjustments to be more foreigner-friendly, the hotel has potential.
