I stayed here for two weeks. The last weekend I was here I got woken up by a leaking AC unit they got the entire blanket wet. I got my clothes and items wet as well and a few of my things were ruined. I mentioned this to the staff when I reported the leak as well as twice the next day. All I got was “ok”. Then when I emailed them after my stay about this they told me it was too late to verify damage and that they looked forward to seeing me again. Wouldn’t stay here again since they can’t take responsibility for their own faulty equipment.
Access and location - the best. You can get on and off the airport limousine bus 6001 at the exactly same bus stop (officially called Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun / Euljiro Co-op) right in front of the building, as the bus circulates around the town and the airport. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to the metro. The room has no heating but only the heated floor, which is controlled centrally, so you can't adjust the room temperature - can get really hot or cold in winter. The room has an air conditioning instead, so should be comfortable in summer.
What a great location and convenient transportation to everywhere in Seoul. With this room rate, this hotel is the best you can get. I used to stay in 5 star hotel in Seoul but now I will stay here next time I visit.
Not my first time staying here. The location is good, and it’s conveniently near the airport limousine bus stop. However, the toilet in the room could be improved — the water pressure is weak, and there aren’t enough hooks or storage space to hang or place clothes while showering. The staff at the reception counter were not friendly; their expressions made it feel like we owed them something. I also don’t understand why we had to place a 10,000 won deposit just to get an additional (second) key card when there were two of us. The TV live channel selection is limited — there’s no SBS, KBS, or tvN live programs. On the positive side, the room is equipped with crockery and a microwave, which is convenient.
The best budget friendly stay at Seoul. Its near the subway and price is affordable with neat rooms and small kitchen. I believe some rooms may also have their own clothes washer.
For our needs, it was perfectly fine. The room was a bit hot with no option to change the temperature so we kept the window open in December. The location is hard to beat. It is close to a metro station with multiple lines and multiple malls within walking distance. It is great that the hotel has a gym and we used it daily. The bathroom is small and basic, which is fine. If you are coming from the West, it is a bit weird to shower right next to the toilet (and it gets the whole bathroom wet including the toilet), but it gets the job done. My husband and I worked from the hotel room a bit and the wifi was slow for downloads and uploads. Overall, we had a nice stay and it met everything we needed.
