Toyoko Inn Seoul Dongdaemun No.2

This is not my first time staying at this hotel. The location is very good, and the breakfast selection is enjoyable. They have also upgraded their coffee machine, which was a nice improvement. The staff are friendly and always smiling, making the stay pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

Small ship cabin style rooms (including one piece plastic bathroom cubicles) but practical and clean. Decent breakfast included. Excellent location - right over the DDC metro station and 150 meters from the airport limousine bus stop.

The web says 3 star but the building says 2 star...the service is good ..the front desk are very nice but the room is basic. They say business hotel but there are zero news or stock channels..the rooms are clean but the bathroom is not suitable for a larger man. I can't sit on the super small toilet and you can't use the sink and shower at same time. This is more like a really nice hostel rathan than a hotel. You can get much better rooms on a Wed for $108,000 won...these rooms should be 60,000 to 80,000 won....not worth the rate.

This is my favourite hotel in Seoul (I've stayed here over 20 nights in 2025 alone) however be warned that the staff English ability is not up to scratch. It will be fine when everything is in order but they are unable to assist when it isn't.

I had verbally told a staff that I would like to cancel one night of my stay as I would be in another city but the hotel did not process the cancellation and upon my subsequent check in insisted that I pay for the night that I did not spend at the hotel and on top of that the hotel sent a threatening email stating that the hotel would not accommodate me in the future if there was a failure to pay for that night.

On top of all that, the hotel also failed to allocate me my toyoko club point for that night

This is a nice location for tourists.
The room size is so small, but everything's included.
However, there are only two elevators, so you need to consider when you use it in popular time.
