The Jade Hotel, Jeju

I really enjoyed staying here, the room was exactly like in the pictures, the room was clean, they provided shower gel, shampoo and even conditioner. Staying in the bath tube was the most relaxing part of my whole trip, i felt really relaxed and they had a very nice product for the water that smelled like heaven. The food was tasty and the lounge is big and well designed. I highly recommended it, you should really book this hotel if you plan to visit Jeju. For me the bathtub experience was the best and not every hotel has one, so I think this is the right choice from to choose if you really want to be comfortable and enjoy your hotel.

Extremely poor service and disappointing stay

was very disappointed with my experience at Jade Hotel, particularly regarding the staff's attitude and lack of communication.
The most frustrating part was the breakfast service. We arrived at the café at 7:45 AM (it supposedly opens at 7:30 AM) and simply asked if they were open. The woman working there was incredibly rude from the start, snapping "Give me a minute! 😒" ( photo attached) with a terrible attitude. Needless to say, we chose not to eat there and took our business elsewhere.
Additionally, the hotel's communication is lacking. We were never given information regarding the Wi-Fi service. Furthermore, despite not requesting it, staff entered our room to perform a cleaning service, which we found to be a violation of our privacy and preferences.

Between the hostility at the café and the lack of basic information, I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of other options with much better hospitality. 😎

Had the large room with separate bath tub. Bed large, firm and comfy, good pillows.
Large tv with with plenty of channels.
Shower eas spacious , water hot and powerful. Great bathroom products in large pump bottles, and a razor was available on request.

The bath is huge, and me 1.98 meter had 3 baths during my 5 stays, lush! They provide a nice bath salt, and lots of towels.

Handy fridge in the room, every day bottled water provided for free.

Staff very friendly, reception, bar, restaurant, plenty of spaces to hang around.

Good wifi in all area. Great value for money if you like modern almost industrial style rooms and hallways, highly recommended.

Was slightly apprehensive reading some of the reviews to extent that I nearly cancelled. However staying there I found the location fantastic near dongmun market, black pork street, olive young, issac toast. The rooms were slightly small but functional. Staff could be more present. I preferred this to my other hotel in jeju

Beware that this hotel is much smaller, unprofessional, and more dingy than it appears in their photos. We were promised a room size of 23 square metres but estimated our room at around 15 square metres. There was barely space to walk around after opening one medium-large sized luggage. The room was slightly run down and was not fully clean.

Hotel is a lot more run down than expected. Stairs are unrenovated, unsafe, and fenced off. We were looking for extra towels and found spare towels, bottles, and other room laundry was thrown on on the floor in a dirty and dusty storage closet.

The hotel front desk is typically not staffed. Instead they have the person manning their cafe double up as hotel staff, which means it is hard to get help during cafe operating hours. Staff barely spoke English and did not seem happy to help.

Location was okay, with reasonable amenities and food around. Parking took some time to find, on a one-way street that required a big loop behind the hotel, but was not a big complaint.

Giving them 1 star for the dishonesty, false marketing, and undeserved high prices.
