The City Hotel

The water pressure is too weak, making it frustrating to shower. The shower tiles smell like dirt. There's hair in the room. You'll need to be more careful about cleaning.

It's located in the bustling, high-tech district, so it's great for restaurants and entertainment. There's a 24-hour, unmanned cafe, but I was a little disappointed because I stayed there on a weekday, which was a bit of a disappointment. It was still very good.

Rooftop Penthouse...

I went with my child, and we had a great time playing in the swimming pool. It was great for the whole family to enjoy together.

There was a karaoke room and arcade games, so we weren't bored at all.

There was a Styler, so I tried using it, and it really made me want to own one. 😍

It was a shame that there were no cutlery sets or rice bowls. 😥

It was nice that there was an ice dispenser. 😅

Reason for giving one star:
I paid 30,000 won to extend my checkout by three hours, but the desk called at 1:00 PM to ask me to prepare for checkout. The person who called back and told me I had paid 30,000 won, and they said they hadn't received a handover. In a service industry where attitude is everything, I felt like they weren't meeting the basic standards.

Pros: Clean facilities, good bed mattress, decent bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast was subpar, but not great. Interior design was flawed (electrical cables protruding from the ceiling, holes in the curtains). Amenities like shampoo and body wash were provided as disposable items.

This is the accommodation I booked after a meeting following a last-minute same-day business trip from Seoul to Gwangju. Since there were many of us, we rented the entire top floor—I think it was the event room? It had an entrance like a pension, with three bedrooms, a karaoke room, a separate kitchen, and a living room. There was an arcade game in the living room, which we had a lot of fun playing. It was a bit cold because the heating took a while to come on since we arrived late, though.

There was also an outdoor table tennis room and a swimming pool. Since I only came to sleep for the business trip, I only stayed for one night, but it seems like a good room to book for a vacation. It is a private room on the top floor.
