Summit Hotel

Concierge service: Staffs attitude was nice. They know only simple english, so try not to go into complicated sentences when conversing. Room service staffs job did so well - our room were tidy and clean, and also were very friendly (greeted us with smiles every time we pass by them at the walkway p/s: we were staying at level 7).

Check in/luggage storage: couldn't early check in due to full booking. No Luggage storage under hotel. But there is a coin locker right beside the hotel (walked through indoor walkway that has GS25 beside), easy to use. First 3 hours 2,000KRW with 1,000KRW charge every additional hour. The locker is sufficient to fit one big Luggage and one cabin size Luggage.

Location: walk to the entrance of Line 2 exit 4 entrance (dongdaemun history & culture park station) is about 300m walk right out from the hotel (straight line), and cross a pedestrian crossing over the main road. But bare in mind this station covers 3 lines (2, 4 and 5). There will be a walking distance depending on your route. (P/s: seoul stairs is no joke everywhere). Like mentioned, GS25 is available right beside the hotel and closes at 11:30pm. You can buy your climate card or t-money here as well.

Food: there are a couple of food options nearby (opposite the road has seolleoltang, samgyetang, Japanese, bakery butterhill ; same stretch of road to the metro also has local shops that sells soups)

Room: water pressure is strong, room is warm (we stayed from 3/4/26-5/4/26), toilet necessities all available. 2 bottle of waters were given every day. Ample plug points available. Only downside is the walkway from the door to the end of the room fits a person, meaning it'd be hard to place your luggage down and pack, especially when seoul is a shopping heaven.

Airport: K Airport Limo 6702 bus is the direct stop to the hotel. You can buy the bus ticket right in front you exit the terminal (kisok machine) and bus stop is right at the terminal exit (airport to hotel). Hotel to airport you can just tap when entering the bus (dont have to pre-purchase ticket). 18,000KRW/adult. Chose this for pure convenience since our flight was at early morning / midnight.

Middle range compared to other hotels in Seoul. I chose it for location and access but found that it still required a bit of on foot navigation compared to other hotels in the area. The staff was less friendly than I regularly expect and experience in Korea.

The location is quite gooooood. Very close to many restaurants and Oliveyoung. Also, there is a shuttle bus just stop in front of the hotel which can drive you to the airport.

We got put in a room where the window didn’t close fully, so we had cold air blasting towards the beds. The room is very small, so bed is right next to window. We told the staff. Someone came to see the window but they told us they cant fix it. They didn’t offer to change the room and they kept turning off the air conditioner, which we needed to keep the room a livable temperature. We had to go every day to beg them to turn on the air conditioning on warm. The room also has almost no storage space. We had to keep our belongings in the suitcases on the floor.

Good 3 star hotel that is reasonable priced and have good rooms. We had the triple room which is a queen and a single. The room is on the small side, not a lot of room for luggages. We had to put them on the bed for stuff and then back on the floor.

Bathroom is clean with shower over bath. The hairdryer is pretty strong. Toilet has bidet and heated seats which is good to usem

Service is pretty good with room clean up every morning, 3 water bottles replaced every day.

Location is about 8 min walk to nearest subway (line 2, 4 and 5) and across the roads are lots of dining places.
