Slow Citi Guest House

Awesome spot for the hikes both husband and wife so helpful and friendly. Even lent me a hiking backpack for the volcano climb. Nice common area and coffee machine, food recommendations.
Would stay again for sure.

Very good guest house. I stayed three nights with friends and everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, everything. The welcome was nice and the owners are very friendly. Thanks again for the advice that made our trip better !

I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves it.
1. Friendly helpful staff with great english and help you plan things to do around the island.
2. Very clean and has the amenities you expect plus included breakfast and a full kitchen you can use all day.
3. AC in the room, you can heat or cool the room with a remote.
4. Near the main city bus stop with the buses traveling around the island, no need to transfer buses or walk a distance.
5. Lastly and most importantly, safe! Inside your room there is a metal old fashioned lock on top of the regular key lock. This can only be locked and unlocked only from the inside. Perfect for solo travelers that prioritize safety.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay that I felt compelled to leave a review. I highly recommend!

Nice vibe, but serious mold problem — beware if you have allergies.

This hostel has a friendly atmosphere and the woman at reception was lovely. Lots of travelers passing through, good location. But unfortunately, the hygiene was a major issue.

The bathroom had visible mold — on the walls, ceiling, and in the corners of the shower. After a night there, I started coughing and wheezing, and it hasn’t improved since I left. If you have any sensitivity to mold, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

They let me pay for just the one night I stayed with them which I thought was considerate.

A shame, because this place has potential — but health should come first.
