Booked for a conference visit to Seoul. This hôtel is excellent value for money. The location is both quiet but super close to Silim station exit 8 and bus stops from and to the air port. Ideally located for bus to Seoul National uni as well as Gangnam districts.
The room was a small studio size. With walk in shower, good sized double bed, seating bench and table plus à massage table. Massage table that has settings to massage you! Great views to north of city and mountains beyond.
Fridge and air con both great.
Staff helpful. 10% coffee shop on ground floor has excellent decaf coffee!
As a lone female European traveller this was a safe and well located hôtel for work or vacation.
It was great to get that "staycation" vibe without traveling far from Seoul!!
The price was affordable, and the room had a surprisingly atmospheric vibe, so I was satisfied~
I didn't want to go home after finishing my night shift, so I searched for a staycation in Seoul. I booked immediately after seeing photos of a Japanese-style room, but it was even prettier in person, so I took tons of pictures. I went into the jacuzzi, came out, had some tea, and fell asleep right away; I can't even begin to describe how long it has been since I slept properly. I'm sensitive about bedding, but the linens here are great too. I didn't want to get up. Seriously. I think I'll come back again after my next night shift.
I chose this place while looking for a date spot in Sinlim with my girlfriend. I usually don't have high expectations for accommodations, but if the ryokan vibe is this good, it's a whole different story. We were sitting in the private spa tub with music playing, and the space itself felt like a whole world. I'm someone who always creates sound in my studio, but I actually enjoyed the quietness here. It might sound paradoxical, but the serene atmosphere actually inspired me. I think I'll come back alone to work next time.
My legs were hurting so much from standing at work all day that I was stressed and wanted a staycation, so I just searched online and made a reservation. I was surprised to find a hotel with a Japanese vibe in Sinlim, but seeing the tatami mats and tea ceremony set made up for it. The half-bath at the spa completely relieved the day's fatigue. I think this is the real deal for a budget-friendly staycation in Seoul. They don't provide combs, so be sure to bring your own.
