stayed at Wolmi Island for 4 nights from May 9th to 13th. The room type had 1 double bed and 1 single bed. There was a convenience store and an amusement park next to the hotel. It was an inexpensive hotel, suitable for independent travelers.
We stayed at Sea Moon Tourist Hotel (해월관광호텔) in Incheon for two nights as part of a tour group, and overall it was a solid, no-nonsense stay. Our room was on the top floor (7th floor), which turned out to be a nice bonus—quiet and free from street noise. The room size was generous enough, with one double bed, one single bed, and a surprisingly long desk that made it easy to spread out luggage and personal items.
One thing you’ll notice right away is the heating: it can’t be turned off. The room felt a bit too warm at times, but opening the window helped, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The bathroom came with a bathtub, which was nice after a long day, though the hot water temperature tended to fluctuate—probably the biggest downside of the stay.
WiFi was free, fast enough, and didn’t require a password, which is always appreciated. Breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m. near the front desk on the first floor. The selection was fairly limited, and seating was tight, so it wasn’t unusual to see guests waiting for a table. Self-service cleanup is required after eating.
Although the hotel is located by the Wolmido seaside, there are still nearby restaurants and convenience stores, making it reasonably convenient overall.
I recently stayed at the Sea Moon Tourist Hotel in Icheon, South Korea, and was unfortunately disappointed. The hotel's amenities were quite basic, and the rooms were not very clean – I noticed mold behind the curtains. Additionally, some power outlet covers were missing, and there were only small towels in the bathroom. The beds were somewhat comfortable, but the breakfast was lacking – there wasn't much variety. The staff was also not particularly friendly. However, a positive aspect was that there were many convenience stores and cafes around the hotel, which was very convenient.
Great place. The wood in the bathroom smelled lovely, like a sauna.
The size of the room was impressive for Asian standard. Very big, very comfy.
I stayed longer than originally planned.
Nice boutique hotel next to the amusement park. Wifi is fast, bed is kinda firm. Price is good, has parking and I have a nice view of the waterfront.
