Royal Square Hotel

Great place to stay for a few nights. Extremely accessible by subway line number 5 and many buses. Comparable to a three star motel in the states. Clean, no frills and great water pressure in the showers. Could not complain for the price per night (~USD50).

I haven’t brought credit card or cash with me. When I checked in, my Apple Pay or Alipay didn’t go through. Hotel’ touch pay only accepts galaxy or other local pay. Anderson Choi gave my room key first so I can have the room to stay.
On the morning, we tried again with Apple Pay, didn’t go through again.
Around lunch, the manager G.H. has spent about half an hour to help me, having tried all kinds of ways he can think out. Finally we got this done! I truly appreciate their kindness and patience!

Stayed here for early flight at Gimpo airport. For me, this place located not so good area. Noisy place. Shower head was not working properly. The room was clean but dark. Don't open the window. Outside smoke smell came in like tsunami. Anyway we needed public transport to go to the airport.

We stayed just one night here. A quick layover between coming back from Jeju Island (into Gimpo Airport) and flying out of S. Korea (Incheon Intl. Airport) the next day. Easy to catch almost any bus from Gimpo just 1-stop to get to the hotel.

It was easy to check in and out the next morning. The room was big, clean, and well arranged with a large counter space to put stuff, a little seating area with 2 chairs and a table, a hanging rack with clothes hangers and hooks, fridge, electric kettle and mugs.

Nearby was plenty of convenience stores, coffee and tea shops, Olive Young to do any last minute shopping before heading out, and restaurants to have one last night of Korean BBQ.

Worked out perfectly for our last night In S. Korea.

The location is just perfect if you flight from Gimpo Airport, as it was our case; juts 2 minutes from the metro and in less then 10 minutes with the metro you arrive to Gimpo airport.. The room was very spacious, in comparison with Seoul city center. You have even a washing machine in the room
