Royal Hotel Seoul

Just wrapped up a fantastic stay at the Royal Hotel Seoul and couldn’t be happier. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly easy to explore the city.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The level of service was top class, with thoughtful personal touches that made the experience feel special rather than routine.

The hotel itself was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a priority throughout. And the breakfast? Absolutely awesome. A great selection and high quality across the board, but what made it even better was the breakfast restaurant manager—truly outstanding, attentive, and clearly passionate about guest experience.

All around, a memorable stay. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Seoul.

Perfect location to stay in Seoul especially for first timers! Shops and Food carts every night are right outside the lobby! So easy to Uber to other tourist spots. Definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Royal Hotel Seoul. The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Myeongdong.
The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices each morning. The room was always clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were thoughtful, hardworking, and attentive to details.
What made the stay even better was the front desk staff — they were always polite, welcoming, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Seoul.

Amazing location in a part of Myeongdong where cars can always access if you need a taxi.(During the day, most of Myeongdong is pedestrian only.)
Buffet breakfast was good, Sky Club Lounge for afternoon tea and happy hour has nice views.
We stayed in a Royal Suite for the sitting area and extra room for our large suitcases and had plenty of space.

I had an excellent stay at the Royal Hotel Seoul. The location is truly outstanding, right in the heart of Myeong-dong, with very easy access to public transportation and all the main points of interest in the city.

The hotel itself is beautiful, offering a high level of comfort with a touch of luxury. The breakfast experience is a real highlight: it’s served on the 21st floor with a stunning 360° view over Seoul. The food is generous, very well prepared, and honestly filling enough that you can easily skip lunch.

The rooms are comfortable, though a bit compact which is quite typical for hotels in Seoul where space is optimized.

Overall, a fantastic stay that I would absolutely recommend.
