The hostel is good. The owner is very warm and friendly. It's also near the park. and good price

I don’t understand the bad reviews on this place. It wasn’t the most clean, but the private room was sufficient. It had hot water and everything I needed, including good wifi. The location is decent, not too far from the metro.
For this price, which is lower than most shared rooms and hostels, you get a private room. When considering the price, it is a very good stay
I told the staff I was arriving very late due to a late flight, after midnight. They waited for me and let me in right as I arrived, preventing me from waiting outside in the pouring rain. I am grateful.

The people were nice. I arrived at the place at around 10:00 and I was waiting at the reception because my check in time is at 15:00. I don’t really mind waiting but the person who was at the reception saw me and let me enter my room and helped me carry my luggage and taught me how to operate the door. The room is nice and there‘s a computer and tv. Drinking water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. I wasn’t able to take a picture when I first entered the room but everything is perfect for me. My room is good for one to two person.

Absolutely a hidden gem in Seoul for an extremely affordable accommodation!! The building and rooms themselves are definitely on the older side, but you can really tell that the owner has made an effort to keep it clean and useable as much as possible, despite it being an older building. The location is also AWESOME. You’re only a 3-5 min walk from the Cheonho station and the Hyundai department store, factory outlet, amazing restaurants (standout was Yeokjun Gukbap) and tons of convenience stores and a Daiso only 3 mins away!!

I’m pretty sure that this is a family owned motel and the owner and family who operates this motel are such incredible people!! They truly made the experience so comfortable and even helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. I cannot stress enough how kind and amazing the owners are - they really made the experience SO great.

I literally love this motel and if you are okay with living modestly and in a bit of a tighter space, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

Ok. Let THIS review be the one that is unbiased and allows you to make the best decision for yourself.

First time in Seoul. Me and my friend stayed at the Orange Hotel for a week. Now...

Was everything perfect? Of course NOT. It's so cheap to stay here. You can't possibly compare this hotel to a Ritz Carlton it's not fair.

Yes, the towels were too small, they spoke very little English so I had to use Google Translate, the toilet wasn't perfect so I had to get really good at using a plunger.

So, why am I giving place 5 stars? 2 reasons.

1. The Korean family who owns this place are ABSOLUTELY the best. This is a real story. My friend needed a pharmacy and the guy who owns the place LITERALLY took him and walked with him to find him the right medicine. I've NEVER heard of that type of service even at 7 star hotels. They were also SO NICE. Whenever I asked for something, they promptly handled it.

2. Unbelievable hospitality. The guy who knows the place LITERALLY felt like a family member. He even carried out super heavy luggage on his own even when we pleaded him not to because it was so heavy, poor guy. He did it because he cares.

So what's the TL;DR? If you want to live more like a LOCAL and you want to spend your travel budget on other stuff like food, sightseeing, and you're flexible about taking a few hits on your accomodation, I 1000% would vouch for this place. It's also very close to the Cheonho metro too, so easy to get around.

✨✨✨✨✨ For hospitality. I wish more people cared about their businesses like this guy does.
