Ocean Soleview Hotel

Big Dude with the spec glasses at the front desk is very rude. No help at all I mean worst service I’ve had so far in Korea. I was polite and asked him a simple question he refused to help said that’s not his job. Other than that the hotel was super nice. Usually don’t write reviews at all but felt the need to. Wouldn’t even look at me when I asked another question just put his hand in my face. Unreal

This is a positive review for a 2/3 star hotel. It's less like a hotel and more like an Air BnB though.

his is a solid, clean, and entirely no-frills space, making it ideal for an airport layover. The AC units need dusting.

The location is excellent, being close to Incheon Airport (ICN)—my taxi ride was approximately 20 minutes—and also conveniently close to local food options. I really appreciated the view of the water from my window and the small balcony, which offered a great perspective on the area.

It is important to note that this is an automated check-in facility with no front desk. While my check-in process was smooth after confirming my booking with my OTA, I would caution that there is no staff present to help if something were to go wrong. Additionally, if arriving by train, you will definitely want to call a taxi from the station to reach the property.

I only stayed one night, but for the price and the convenience, I definitely recommend this place for any traveler needing a comfortable, efficient stopover.

I booked an ondol room for 3 adults for two nights, but the room only had bedding for 2. When I complained to the front desk, the staff said the hotel only supports two guests and blamed Hotels.com. Hotels.com customer service couldn’t help either, saying they don’t speak Korean. I asked for additional bedding but front desk told me that's against the rule and I can't even pay for a additional one.
As a result, I had to sleep on the floor without bedding, which left me with back pain. It’s inappropriate that the booking system allows 3 adult guests, if the hotel cannot accommodate them. I hope this gets fixed so future guests don’t suffer the same problem.
Other than this, the view from the room was great, the sheets were fairly clean, and the overall stay was good especially with the low fare. However, there was thick dust near the AC vent that should be cleaned. It's fairly quiet area but there were people who were firing firecracker past midnight which bothered my friend at night.

The location of the hotel is quite isolated, with no attractions or amenities within walking distance, which required me to take frequent $30 cab rides to get around. The listing mentions an in-room washer and dryer, but guests are not permitted to use them, and unfortunately, there are no nearby laundromats available. I booked a room with a spa, but the spa appeared unclean and I did not feel comfortable using it. Additionally, the hotel operates primarily through self-service kiosks for check-in and check-out, so staff are not always available to assist with questions or concerns. I was also unable to use the television, as all programming was in Korean and there were no instructions provided for changing the language or navigating the remote.

Worst service ever. The guy with specs at the front desk wasn't helpful at all n he is super rude. Smirk when asked for help showing the attitude of : " you are on your own! N i don't care"

Location wise is good , but due to winter, we couldn't turn on the aircon, thus we need to open the balcony door, guess what!!!! The bbq smell keep floating in and the whole room stings with bbq smells.

Nevertheless coming back to this hotel!
