Great place to stay with great people, owner and other staff are very good people and you can meet a lot of different people to enjoy your time in a whole new place!
Location is not too bad. It is kind of far from the main shopping district and train station. Interacting with most of the staff was a good experience except the Asian guy. He seemed depressed and unfriendly.
Overall, it is a decent place. My review mostly reflects the cold and unfriendly experience with one of the staff members as well as the distance from the station.
I stayed at this hostel for three weeks and it was my first time travelling oversees. I was extremely nervous but the staff made me feel welcomed
Everyone here is friendly and fun to hang out with and the staff makes sure everyone is having a great time
They always helped whenever I had any question and would suggest fun things to do while in Seoul
They plan many hangouts at night time in the common room to play games and to meet new people. I met so many amazing guests and even hung out with them outside of the hostel to travel in Seoul
I had the best time of my life here and I will definitely come back to this hostel again
The hostel is very clean, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I also like that you can completely darken the rooms and sleep in peace. Unlike other hostels in this price range, a lot of attention is given to guest comfort here. The owner is always approachable for questions, requests, or assistance, and is always ready to help when needed.
Additionally, there is a very nice common area with multiple rooms where you can relax, eat, and meet other people if you want. The host often organizes gatherings where guests can socialize and eat together. For example, at Halloween, the hostel was fully decorated, and guests could join a Halloween hostel party if they wanted.
If you’re not very social, you can still enjoy complete privacy and quiet in your room, which is a definite plus. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this hostel and would highly recommend it. The location is also convenient, with many convenience stores, Olive Young, and main streets like Hongdae and Myeongdong nearby.
Probably the filthiest place I’ve encountered through my 25 years if traveling. Not even Jaipur’s or Cairo’s hostels come close.Mold in bathrooms, smell of sweat and piss in every corner, shoe rack by the entrance adds an unforgettable scent of dozens of dirty shoes. Kitchen is unusable — every surface covered in decades old grease. Avoid at all costs. Thank me later.
