Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - Seoul Dragon City

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Rooms were absolutely amazing. Very spacious and came with a washing machine!!!

Location is ok to central Seoul with a train station only minutes away. Massive shopping centre also minutes away.

We were on the 38th floor and the views were breathtaking.

Only issue is no amenities.

Although a 5 star hotel I really don’t think it lives up to that rating. No staff to help customers arriving with luggage. Tour buses blocking the entrance every day. And limits to how many times customers can use the pool and sauna. Lobby should be for hotel customers only, not filled with general public people walking by. Check-in and check-out has to be quicker, especially if we already pre-registered.

Good value for money as compared to seoul / myeongdong station area. Spacious room with mini kitchen and washing machine. Walking distance to yongsan train station and huge shopping mall. Ktx stops at this station. Staff are conversant in basic english, very professional and friendly. One of the front lobby staff, Jensen, was very helpful to show us the check in counter. He never failed to greet me everytime i see him for the 4 days i stayed in april 2026. However there is one feedback to the hotel management that on one night, i heard pounding sound starting from 4am from a construction site just beside the hotel. Although not deafening, still slightly audible. Overall, i will still recommend the hotel.

As an Accor Platinum member, I was given an early check in and late check out. We had the suite with city views and we can see Namsan Tower from a distance. The room was spacious and I really like that there was a washing machine/dryer. The hotel's location is also unbeatable with it being attached by a foot bridge to Yongsan Station and the IPark Mall. Everything that we needed was only a few steps away.

We stayed seven nights at Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan as a family and had a very comfortable experience overall. The location is excellent, with direct access to Yongsan Station, making it very easy to get around Seoul by subway or train. The hotel is also connected to IPark Mall, which was extremely convenient for restaurants, cafes, groceries, and quick meals after a long day out.

The suites are spacious and well suited for longer stays, with a small living area and kitchenette that made it easy to relax and prepare simple food in the room. This made a big difference travelling with family compared to a standard hotel room. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and housekeeping kept everything clean and well maintained throughout the week.

Service was professional and smooth, and the hotel complex also has good facilities including a gym and pool. The only minor downside is that the shared complex can feel busy at times, especially in common areas.

Overall it was a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring Seoul. I would happily stay again.
