Nine Tree Premier ROKAUS Hotel Seoul Yongsan

Great location next to Yongsan station. Walking distance to malls and food streets. Casino is also nearby.

Hotel Service staff are very polite and helpful. Special kudos to Haeun from the reception who has been helpful during our stay. Housekeeping was very good too. 5* for them.

With the exception of the Rokaus Deli at level one which had very bad service staff. The whole stay was spoilt by her. 0* Refer below for details.

The hotel was very easy to find and very close to the metro, so the location is amazing. The welcoming at the reception was outstanding, Choi Se Jun was very kind and spoke flawless English, which made our check-in experience absolutely stressfree. Even though I have already other place booked for the rest of the holiday, I may reconsider to prolong our stay at Rokaus hotel just because of how sweet and helpful the staff is

Family-friendly hotel with excellent service, especially from Hwi Ryeon, who made our stay extra pleasant 😊 Loved that they have a family playroom and a pool for kids too.

The location is also very convenient, with malls nearby which made everything much easier for us with a baby.✨

I very much liked my stay in December 2025. I was staying in a room on a high floor with the HanRiver view. It was magical watching the trains and twinkling lights of the city on cold winter nights.

The room was well organised, with vanity, bath and toilet separated, ample space for hanging winter jackets, and a nice settee where I can read and enjoy snacks. The staff were really kind and helpful, assisting with both luggage storage and making of reservations.

If I may suggest an improvement to the coin laundry room. There’re too few machines and there’s nothing to stop other guests from throwing out your laundry even when the time on the dryer isn’t up. I caught a couple red handed and they just started to talk silly. This service is affordable but not exactly cheap so having a pin lock (like some hotels in Japan) can prevent unhappy incidents.

Overall, a delightful place to stay at a location with plenty of food choices, a large supermarket nearby, and well connected by buses and trains. A top choice for my next trip to Seoul!

This is a newly opened hotel in front of Yongsan Station in Seoul.
The atrium wall on the first floor is decorated with project mapping, giving it a modern impression.
The front desk is on the fourth floor, and there is a locker room on the third floor where you can store your luggage.

This hotel seems to cater to military personnel, as there were a lot of couples in military uniforms there.

Our room was on a high floor, so the view was amazing.
Apparently rooms with a view of the Han River are even more beautiful.

The room was new and stylish.
There was also a sofa, so you could relax.
The only thing that was disappointing was that the bathrobe was very worn. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it a 5.

The hotel has a pool, but it costs an additional 15,000 KRW and is charged by the hour per session.

I decided to give it a try, and although the pool was very nice, there were still military couples making out everywhere.

As it's in front of the station, it's conveniently located near malls, cinemas, spas, and restaurants.

Stayed at Nine Tree Hotel Yongsan for 6 nights. The room was compact but functional, with a comfortable shower area. We booked a Han River view room, though the view wasn’t very impressive.

The hotel was generally clean, though we noticed some dust and hair at times. The biggest downside was the slow elevators, and we often had to wait a long time — once around 10:50 am, we waited close to 20 minutes.

The location is convenient, just next to Yongsan Station and a street away from Sinyongsan Station, making transport and sightseeing easy. There’s also a convenience store in the hotel basement, which was super handy.

Overall, a decent choice for a stay in Seoul, though the elevator situation is worth keeping in mind.
