Good location. 5 minute walk from the bus stop, tourist information around the corner, 10 minutes walk from Hyundai Mall, restaurants all close by.
Stayed in the 7 bed female dorm. Luggage storage box in the room, small storage under the beds too. Room is small, it would have been difficult to move around, unpack bag etc if the room was full. It would be good to have hooks or shelving in the bed as the only place to store your things was the storage area and under bed storage. Plug is behind a door so it was difficult to charge while lying down as the door is open above you.
Water and towels provided. Also shampoo, body wash and toothpaste. Facilities were clean. It was easy to check in.
Would recommend for a short stay.
Clean and tidy place, I had a private room so I didn’t have to worry about noisy people. This can happen anywhere and it’s not the owners fault. The kitchen is nice and fully equipped, nice common area and very nice owner. I would recommend to stay there.
I stayed for 3 nights in female dormitory on level 3 that for only female. When checked in, the owner gave 1 basket containing 2 towel, access key, 1 botol mineral water & earplug. Available elevator that make easy to go every level. Rooftop at level 7 & at one blow a place to dry laundry. Laundry KRW 3.000. Get free for 3 nights or more. No breakfast but available kitchen with complete tools. Free hot/cold water, coffe & tea sachet.
Start with the positives: It is a nice hostel, lots of facilities, toiletries and towels provided, great location and lovely roof top.
However the hostel etiquette of guests is consistently bad so I had the worst nights sleep I’ve had in any hostel. Setting alarms at 4:30AM then snoozing them for over an hour, turning lights on in the middle of the night, watching videos without headphones when people are trying to sleep, being super loud packing bags super early in the morning, eating smelly food in the rooms when there’s a kitchen downstairs, using hairdryers in the powder room at 2 in the morning(??), loud phone calls in the hallway at unsociable hours.
General noise is completely fine obviously, I know that this comes with staying in a hostel, but people were very inconsiderate to others . setting alarms is completely understandable but don’t snooze it for over an hour when other people are trying to sleep? This was multiple different guests, lots of people only stayed one night and then were just replaced by guests who were equally as bad lol so I did get very unlucky clearly
Please talk to guests about house rules and hostel etiquette when they arrive, at least explain the basic rules, as it was consistently so bad and ruined my sleep 3 nights out of 4. I’ve stayed in many hostels and I’ve not experienced so much disregard for other guests. It ruined an otherwise lovely hostel!
Although we didn't get breakfast due to Covid restrictions, the hostel is super clean, designed for travelers--the free washing machine was an amazing perk--and the seventh floor rooftop area was a nice place to hang out. The staff spoke enough English to make guests like me comfortable and were very helpful. I'll definitely stay there again when I return for another visit. Convenient to subway, eateries, coffee shops.
I went in the off season as I was the only person in one of the rooms, so that was nice. Everything was nicely maintained. The bunk beds are enclosed and have roller shades to give you privacy, and each bed has its own lockable foot locker. The bathrooms are modern and clean as well. They provide supplies to make your own breakfast during the designated hours and the kitchen is well equipped. Check in and out was easy as well. Overall, with its close proximity to one of the major subway stations, it's a great place to stay if you're on a budget.
