Lavita Hotel

I was very satisfied staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. When we lost an item, they assisted us until the issue was fully resolved, and even replaced our item completely.

The hotel’s location is very strategic—close to Gangnam, the Han River, Seongsu, and other shopping areas.

I really love this hotel and will definitely come back again when I visit Seoul.

This is the worst hotel, I’ve ever stayed in. The room was dirty, smelly, the drapes full of dust, windows so dirty, but we had to open the window to get some air in. Hairs in the shower, which proved it wasn’t cleaned properly. We came late at night, but had to change to another hotel in the morning. Don’t go here. It’s not 3 stars, much closer to one.

It is loud outside (can't be helped) as the hotel is on a main road. Non-stop noise from 2-5am outside. Beds are hard as rocks. Bathroom smells slightly of mildew and walls are scuffed. Hotel is rundown and in desperate need of updates. Very disappointed with the property in comparison to others that we stayed at in Korea during the week.

Not my first time in Seoul or Korea, so I have some perspective. The staff is okay - can help with the basic requests, but won’t go out of their way to, for example, help you order food (requires local number), while everything around is closed.

The room is meh. 3/5 for the money…that’s for the money, so obviously lower if we’re talking general comfort.

Pros: Bed sheets are clean, plenty of towels provided, decent location, quite and peaceful
Cons: Long Asian hair all over the room and bathroom when checked in; mattress more like concrete, idiotic drain system so the entire bathroom floor is always wet; very dirty curtains like somebody wiped mayo on them (I am being optimistic, yes); breakfast essentially non-existent

Overall: okay for a business trip…but for $120/night feels like a robbery for any country

Good option and value for money if you need to stay in the area. I spent 3n on a business trip, room quite spacious with no frills. The bed is definitely on the hard side but I didn’t really mind it. Ask for a room on the backyard otherwise the noise can be important from the busy avenue facing the hotel. Friendly and professional staff, especially the young guy with glasses! I will probably stay again since the price is good and there are no many other options in the area. Cheongdam station (exit 14) just 2’ away, also airport bus 6006 stop just 5’ away (W17,000 adult to Incheon, fast and comfy)
