It was well worth the price. People were great. Room met my needs, was perfect for me.
Refrigerator keep freezing my drinks, but they were cold. Windows open so room temperature perfect.
Loved the food vendors in the market a couple of blocks away.
The only negative was breakfast hours opening time 0830.
Bread, jam, cereal, milk, juice, tea & coffee.
The majority of my activities were across the river, so I got to Master the bus system.
So I would definitely stay here again.

We visited this property the previous day to check the room before staying. After seeing the room, we were very disappointed—the room felt cramped and the beds were extremely small. We politely informed the reception that we were not happy and decided to leave.

At that point, the lady at the reception behaved in a very disturbing and unprofessional manner. She called the police and falsely claimed that we had threatened her. She even told the police that we did not have valid visas, which was completely untrue. We never stayed at the property for more than 10 minutes at all—this entire incident happened very quickly.

There are many posters around the place saying “Happy Stay,” but unfortunately, that felt like a joke after this experience. She did not allow us to leave immediately, and there is a camera at the reception desk that records guests.

Thankfully, the police officers were extremely calm, kind, and professional. It seemed like they were already familiar with situations like this, which made us feel that similar incidents may have happened before. We requested the property to cancel our booking, but they refused to do so. Because of this situation, I had to cancel my card for safety reasons.

I booked this place trusting the reviews on Booking.com,there are many similar complaints about this same person calling the police on guests.

I would not recommend this place to foreigners. Locals may be able to manage, but for international travelers, this experience was very stressful and unpleasant.

TLDR: Staff was amazingly nice and it was good for the price but beds are rock solid with clear cheap matinence.

Let's start with the positive. Price was nice, the staff were nice. The laundry service was great for the price, the staff even took the effort to fold our laundry which is really cool. They have umbrellas to use when it rains and the air conditioning works well.
The breakfast was limited but it was still nice of them to have. They are very strict about times and knocked on our door at 11:01 for checkout.
Im giving three stars because 1. The beds were so hard I couldn't sleep more than two hours at a time without waking up in pain and discomfort. It would have been worth it to chalk up another $10 for somewhere with a comfortable matress. Genuinely the worst sleep I've had the entire vacation.
2. Room felt like it was one step away from falling apart. Bathroom had tape on the tiles, sink had tape holding it to the wall and toilet seat cover was half screwed on. Walls also had patches on them which wouldn't have been a big deal if the rest was also not as bad.
I just cant in good conscience rate this place as more than a 3 when room quality is so low.

Incredibly rude and angry staff! After checking out in the morning we wanted to quickly eat something in the common area, but were kicked out immediately. When we said that this was very uncommon to be kicked out of the whole guesthouse immediately after check out time, the woman got really angry and said she called our booking website to file a false complaint, claiming that we had checked out late (which we did not). In addition: very strict breakfast time (everything was put away 2 mins after the end of the breakfast hour) and uncomfortable mattress. In general unwelcoming atmosphere with many warning signs about things they’ll charge your credit card for.

Really one of the best stays in my travel history. Very clean and safe despite being open 24/7. There’s a little kitchen on the first floor where you could make some breakfast every day. WiFi is available everywhere in the hostel. And the host despite struggling a little with English is always willing to help you. Definitely a place you wanna come back.

I almost forgot to mention how creatively embellished this family hotel is!
