Jeju Oriental Hotel

Would not recommend. Rooms are extremely dirty, dark, dusty. There were splatters of unknown things all over the wallpaper, the cupboards and above the bed frames. Not even a rag has wiped those surfaces for years. Dents and scratches over all the outdated furniture and floors. The bathroom sink and taps still had previous toothpaste and spit patches. The hallway has a super strong perfume to cover up what I can only assume is years of smoking and spills. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and probably not replaced since the hotel was built. I only stayed 1 night and disinfected surfaces myself and tried not to touch anything I didn’t need to. The reception area is misleadingly clean and the staff are professional. Location is ok as it’s on the airport side but otherwise not that central to Jeju City itself.

The view from my room was so nice though it lacked a few amenities like the usual hotel does. I don't know if that's a 5-star hotel trait or anything. They have a CU inside the hotel but it closes at 1:00AM. Right outside the hotel there's GS and right across the street we have e-Mart market so it's quite convenient.

There's also a lot of cafes nearby and a short walk to the seaside.

I had an amazing experience with the guest service at jeju oriental Hotel n casino. I'm a tourist and a n can't speak Korean, so I was incredibly stressed when my car tyre punctured. A young gentlemen at e concierge desk went above and beyond to help me by arranging the a tow truck service on my behalf. His kindness save my trip.

I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Even for the price, the room was really bad, lights were too weak and there was just a red wall right in front of the window, the room was dark day and night. They gave me two single bed but there was no room so the beds were put together. Basically i slept with my friend in one double bed. Because of the bad room condition i asked for another room but the manager said it was fully booked, no way it was fully booked. She did not even tried. Only one god thing is it is close to the airport but i think there are better options in the same area with similar price.

Surprisingly hotel 5 star but very reasonable price. Good location in front of sea view and very close to Dongmun Night Market. Room is clean, spacing good,

Bed very comfortable. May need to upgrade for universal pluq for easy charging by tourist.

Disgusting rooms. Stains on the doors, walls, floors, bedsheets, bathroom, literally everywhere!! Every crevice of the room is dirty. There are spiderwebs in the closet corners. Not exaggerating when I say it reminds me of a haunted house. Even the hallway carpet is stained so badly. The lobby and elevators look very nice and clean but don't let that fool you. The rooms are horrid. The bathtub clogged within not even five minutes of use, the lights above the bed did not turn off (hotel maintenance had to come reset a switch at 11pm), so many issues. I was not comfortable staying here and felt completely disgusted. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
