The room and the hallway was kind of dark and our twin bed room has no place to put two luggages. Bathroom light was too dark. The free breakfast was much better than any other hotel's $20+ charge. The employee named Park, Sung-min was very polite and courteous man and he always answered our many questions with smile faces. I wish he gets promotion soon. Hotel location was good. Thank you, Mr. Park. From Won Kim

If you're traveling in Korea, find your accommodation around lines 2 and 9. Line 2 is a circular route that travels through all of Seoul's important areas. In addition, Line 9, which provides quick access to Gangnam, Yeouido, and more via express routes, is perfect for traveling in Seoul. The hotel is located near Sports Complex Station and Jamsil Saenae Station, where you can use both lines 2 and 9. The price range is reasonable, and you can enjoy the nightlife of Seoul on the high street in Jamsil Saenae at night. Of course, the fact that this place is famous for providing high-quality breakfast is also an advantage.

Around 5 mins from exit 9 of the nearest station.

One night stay over the weekend. About 130 USD per night. Frankly, it was too expensive compared to a hotel room. I regretted not staying at a major city hotel.

The service was excellent, and the breakfast was varied and delicious, but that was about it.

The hallways were dimly lit, the room was gloomy, and the photos on the booking site were too good to be true.

There were several cockroach traps in the room, and two large bottles of cockroach spray.

The sofa fabric was tattered and the pillowcases and sheets had stains.

The Wi-Fi was unstable, no matter how many times I tried to connect, both in my room and in other rooms. Never able to use it properly. It was extremely stressful.

There was no spare toilet paper in the bathroom, and the shower and toilet were combined, so it got soaking wet.

The room was advertised as having a city view, but the view outside the window was a building, so it was far from a city view.

Beware of Photos and Misleading Advertising on Bookings sites (like Agoda or Booking.com) – Room and Service Nothing Like Advertised

The only plus I can *maybe* (a hard maybe) give this hotel is its location near southern central Seoul and Line 2 stations — though even then, the nearest subway is about a 15-minute walk away, through traffic lights. And that hotel staff who was friendly and tried his best to communicate despite not really speaking English - though I still was refused any sort of refund despite not even staying a single night.

All in all, the staff do not speak English, and there’s no English-language guidance in the room on how to use amenities. There’s also no working phone to contact the front desk in case of emergencies — and even if there were, the language barrier would still be a major issue.

The room was extremely small and dim, to the point where it felt like a prison cell. The only window was fogged and faced a blank wall. Worse, there appeared to be a second full-sized window behind the bed, completely boarded up with a fixed wooden panel, making the room feel even more claustrophobic.

The walls had visible stains and peeling seams, and some electrical sockets were taped over — a definite safety concern. As a solo female traveler, my instincts told me to leave immediately — I didn’t even spend a night there.

Though the exterior may look recently renovated, the interior felt like a rushed facelift on a much older structure. If you’re a solo traveler, especially if you don’t speak Korean, I strongly recommend reconsidering this hotel.

At over $100/night, this was closer to a poorly run hostel than anything resembling a boutique hotel — and with none of the warmth or hospitality that good hostels can offer. I was not even offered a partial refund for the two nights I had booked.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had nice amenities to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms were small but looked nice. There was a lot of fun nightlife in the neighborhood yet the hotel was still quiet.
But the most impressive part was the included breakfast; I could tell they take a lot of time and effort to do a great job with that and try to accommodate various travelers’ needs and preferences.
