Inno Hostel & Pub Lounge Hongdae

If you appreciate a good night of sleep, I would not advise staying here.

After visiting over 40 countries and countless hostels, I can say this is by far the loudest hostel I have ever been to.

It’s not even because of the karaoke on Tuesday night or the live band on Friday, but because of the doors, stairs, and hallway. All the rooms are connected to the hallway that leads to the stairs going outside. This means that all guests, including the ones arriving late at night, use that same door. I would highly advise the hostel to install a door closer or something to reduce the impact (a 5-dollar fix). You can hear just about every other sound, including people talking, footsteps, etc.

Besides the human noise, there are insects. We killed 9 mosquitos on our first night. And we weren’t the first ones — the bloodstains of previous guests were still on the wall.

The room itself was small, dirty, and dusty. Our private room had a toilet and shower, but no toilet paper included. It was impossible to take a comfortable shower as the showerhead was pointing toward the wall. The mattress was alright, to be fair. The pillows were bad.
The bar is alright, prices are good, and the staff is nice.

To summarize: if you don’t value your sleep, go for it — it’s one of the cheapest. But if you want to enjoy Seoul with a good night of sleep, I advise you not to.

Also had a area where I could meet up with other people.
Drinks were really affordable and the workers were mega cool.
They have a new anti bedbug bed so that was also nice.
Definitely gonna revisit on my next trip !!

It's the best hostel I've ever visited during my trip. I especially like the friendly host and fun events the most. The location is close to the subway, so it has good access to various tourist attractions. With Koreans. I think I'll have a lot of memories because I can make many local friends and experience traveling with them through events that I can mingle with.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The location is perfect—close to subway station and Hongdae area, making it super convenient to explore Seoul. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. One of the highlights was the cozy pub right inside the hostel—a perfect spot to meet other backpackers. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Visiting this hostel was the most fun travel experience I've ever had! The live band performance of the hosts on Friday night was really high quality, and it was great to have fun with free beer with various people. This hostel is unique in its first floor consisting of a pub, so it was nice to have friendly hosts and chat with fun travelers over beer! I also saw you taking care of hygiene a lot. If I visit Korea again next time, I think I will definitely visit there!
