The scale is very small. There is a snack bar and a recycling area, but since it is an open type rather than a bin, crows and cats are present and tear apart a lot of the trash bags. The restrooms, washing area, and showers are fine.

I went camping one weekend in June. Since there were three families going, we had two spots to ourselves. The management office is located at the entrance, which looks like a convenience store. If you make a reservation, they'll give you a pay-as-you-go bag. You can park one car at a time in front, and if there's not enough, there's another one in front of the management office. It was extremely hot during the day, but they had a large tarp and a fan on, so it was bearable. The kids had a blast playing with water guns and catching grasshoppers. The bathroom was cleaner than I expected. We sat in front of the sink, cleaned up, and had a great time. As the sun set, it got cooler, so one or two families stopped by. Drivers can also use designated drivers. Just pay extra when you call, so drivers can enjoy as much as they want. If you exceed your campsite time, you can pay the extra fee at the management office.

Honest Pros and Cons

Pros: Convenient for ordering delivery food and finding necessary items because it is near the city center.
Wide spacing between sites is nice.

Affordable cost: 25,680 won per night.

Same-day reservations are available, making it great for enjoying a camping vibe.

Same-day reservations are 14,000 won.

Cons: Only 3 toilet stalls and 3 shower stalls.

People line up to wait in front of the restrooms.

Gets dirty quickly in the evening.

Even dirtier in the morning.

Too many people.

Every site is overcrowded.

Especially for same-day reservations.

A place where anyone who observes quiet time is a fool.

They only broadcast once in the early evening.

There is no announcement asking people to turn off the lights and observe quiet time at 10 PM.

I had a terrible time with the people next to me.

People making same-day reservations came around 6 PM and sang songs and were incredibly loud, yet they didn't manage the situation.

We arrived at 10:30 PM and told them to be quiet because we were going to sleep, but they kept singing.

I thought I was going to go crazy.

Only the person next to me is well-behaved. A place I want to visit again whenever I meet someone

I wish I could book in the morning like on other sites

There are 3 auto camping sites at the Nakdong riverside in Busan city. This Hwamyeong site is smallest which has 30 places for campers. But this is recently opened and closer to bus and subway stations. And it is just next to the Nakdong river bike road. The best seasons for campers are springs and falls. I can't recommend it in summer owing to biting bugs like mosquitos and flies and in raining days because of flooding .
