Hotel The Grang Seogwipo

Service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Guests are required to hand over their car keys to the receptionist so the hotel staff can park the car in their parking tower. However, on the day of checkout, at around 7:25am on 10/05/2026, there was no staff at the reception. We were rushing to the airport, but we could not find anyone to retrieve our car.

We called the mobile number provided, but there was no answer. When the call finally went through, the staff member told us to go behind the counter and take the key ourselves. He also sounded like he had just woken up, which was very unprofessional and irresponsible.

Thankfully, an ajumma came and helped us. However, when the staff member eventually arrived to help retrieve the car from the parking tower, there was no apology at all.

This was a very stressful and unacceptable experience, especially when guests rely on hotel staff to access their vehicles. Please look into this incident and take action regarding the staff member on duty that morning. Also please ensure staffs follow the rules that are conveyed to the guest as it is misleading and might lead to severe consequences.

Location was good. Convenient stores nearby and there a supermarket behind. 5 mins walk to the traditional market. Safe and secure carpark. The staffs were attentive. The room was spand comfortable for a good stay. The 10k won buffet was a good bargain. Food was tasty.

Location and price are good, but service is very lacking. Toilet bowl was slightly clogged and instead of checking it out, they told us where to find the plunger and clear it ourselves... The room also has a moldy smell.

The room was clean and spacious, we had a hire car and valet parking was fantastic. Every time we came down to reception, we were asked if we would like our car.

All the staff were cheerful and pleasant and we were greeted every time they saw us. The laundry room had extra large washing machines and dryers and the manager Jay helped us get our washing started. If we get the chance to come back to Seogwipo, we will book a room here again.

Room x02 is basic, clean and spacious with both aircon and floor heating provided. Wifi speed is good. Bathroom shower water pressure is strong, floor can be slippery when wet but slippers are provided. Our thanks to the friendly, patient and helpful frontdesk staff Becky and Bruce, attentive valet staff (we had a rental car) and housekeeping staff for their quick work. A good place to stay while visiting Jeju Island.
