Hotel The Designers Incheon

If you care more about look than function, this place is for you.

Surprisingly the front desk didn't speak English.. that's a first I've experienced where a hotel didn't have English speaking service. The room was decent, cute decor but so hot and there was no thermostat for us to control the temperature. We had to sleep with the window open in the dead of winter..

Honestly the parking is cramped and room was nicely designed but lacked functionality. The toilet and shower only had a frosted glass to give privacy the bathroom and bedroom are not separate rooms. The sink is kinda in a narrow space and there was water damage or something on the wood floors. The worst part is the cleanliness. The sheets in my room had a yellow stain and the towels and pillowcase literally had holes in them. I saw the other rooms were differently designed and can’t say how they might be, but I do not recommend this place. Otherwise close to the stations and there’s lot to eat around the area.

The room I have been staying was a showcase of design without function, and what a bad idea this is.

Lights ought to be controlled by a remote control, but all but one button didn't work. To get light for the bathroom, I had to remove the room card from the general switch and reinsert it. Then there was light in the bathroom for some minutes.

There was a hot plate, but no kitchenware, just a hot pot and 2 cups. Not even a spoon.

In the whole room there was one working outlet at the far end of the room. The one in the middle of the room had a timer set to some seconds, the other one in the kitchen hidden away inside the furniture didn't work at all.

The shower was leaking out water, which made the wonderful floor slippery like ice.

The wifi is an open public network, which was slow in my room and worked unreliably.

The staff doesn't speak English at all. The application they used for translation needed a lot of imagination for what they actually might want to say.

The pool was said to be under construction.

It was an okay stay. The way it was worded on the internet made it is seem like we were paying the full price online but it turns out to only be less that half. Due to the lack of English skills of the the front desk staff it was very confusing why we had to pay even more.
The room looked extremely used. The table was full of scratches and dents. There was a hole in the bathroom wall that was covered by a painting (not well). Sheets and everything was clean.
