Rooms was rather clean with automated toilet seat. Breakfast spread just enough for simple breakfast. Plenty of food selection nearby and walking distance to train station, Hyundai shopping mall and Daiso. Right at the front is Olive young where u can get beauty items. Location was great!. They have in house sauna and jjimjibang too at a paid fee.

Dusty room where things seemed to be left untouched for years. I am sensitive to dust so have been sneezing badly in the room. AC was useless as even you control the temperature- nothing changes. Luckily it’s not summer yet, so I opened the window to let air in. Housekeeping is almost non-existent. I saw the people doing housekeeping so I waited at the lobby so they can clean my room for once (after three days of stay); when I got up after few hours later - my room was not cleaned. I had to tell the reception next day to please clean my room immediately. Taxi is tough to get from that hotel. Upon check out, receptionist just kept pointing to the locker space for me to put my luggage. All bottom lockers are taken, my luggage is too heavy to carry to the top lockers. I saw they had other guests keeping luggage in the storage area but cannot be bothered to argue with them. Wonder what’s the difference in service level here? The only upside was that it is near where I need to have my business meeting. Other than that, I wonder how is this hotel surviving even.

Would recommend. Near the metro. Clean rooms. The staff were very helpful and were able to provide assistance in English - they helped us to book things that we weren't able to ourselves, as we didn't have Korean mobile numbers.

Hotel Park Habio : Stayed November 5–7, 2025

I stayed here for two nights right after arriving in Korea for a family event nearby.
I needed something affordable, convenient, and safe, and although I had read many negative reviews, I decided to give it a chance.
Honestly, I even told myself that if the hotel turned out to be terrible, I’d just leave and find another place, even if it meant losing my money. Thankfully, it turned out better than expected.

The lobby wasn’t luxurious, but it looked clean and spacious, with simple decorations and a nice overall atmosphere.
Many reviews mentioned rude staff, so I used the self-check-in kiosk instead 😆
it was very easy to use.
I liked that I could choose my room myself from several available floors.
Since people complained about traffic noise,
I picked a room on the 16th floor (out of 18). Luckily, it was quiet, and I didn’t hear any street sounds or noise from other rooms.

When I stepped out of the elevator, the hallway looked old and scratched, which made me worry for a moment.
But once I entered my room, I felt more at ease. The room was basic and clearly aged, but it had everything I needed for a short stay.
The main problem was that it was too warm ( I stayed in November)
the central heating system couldn’t be adjusted, so I had to open the window to cool the room down. It was too hot and very very dry of course..

As for cleanliness, it was generally okay.
The hotel is old, so there’s some visible dust in corners, but the cleaning staff seemed to work hard to keep things tidy.
The bed is comfortable enough. It didn’t give me any back pain etc…

Breakfast was simple but enjoyable and almost funny cute.
toast, cereal, rice, kimchi, fish cake soup, eggs, sausages, and potato salad.
Nothing fancy, but it gave me funny experience.
Not too bad at all, I felt like I am eating at a school or prison..? Maybe because of the plastic food tray.

Overall, despite all the scary reviews online,
Hotel Park Habio turned out to be a OKAY, budget-friendly choice for a short stay.
I wouldn’t recommend it for more than two nights, but for a quick visit, it’s perfectly fine.

Would I stay again? Yes.
if I’m nearby and can book it for under 50-60 euros per night.
This is a place I’ll remember for its surprising value and simplicity.
